EUROOPAN VILKKAIN MATKUSTAJASATAMA JA SUOMEN JOHTAVA ULKOMAANLIIKENTEEN YLEISSATAMA

Helsingin satama on Euroopan matkustajaliikenteen vilkkain satama. Helsingin Satama Oy luo sujuvat puitteet merimatkailulle mm. Tallinnaan ja Tukholmaan. Tavaraliikenteessä Helsingin Satama on Suomen johtavaulkomaanliikenteen yleissatama, joka palvelee Helsingin seudun ja koko maan elinkeinoelämää ja hyvinvointia

PL 197, 00141 HELSINKI Olympiaranta 3, 00140 Helsinki Puh. +358 9 310 1621 Y-tunnus: 2630555-8

Matkustajaliikenne

Helsinki on Euroopan vilkkain matkustajasatama. Helsingistä on laivayhteydet Tukholmaan, Tallinnaan, Pietariin ja Travemündeen.

Katajanokan terminaalista pääset Tukholmaan ja Tallinnaan Viking Linen laivoilla. Makasiiniterminaalista ei ole liikennettä. Olympiaterminaalista pääset Tukholmaan päivittäin Tallink Siljalla. Länsisatama on Tallinnan liikenteen pääsatama. Länsiterminaali 2:sestä lähtevät Eckerö Linen ja Tallink Siljan alukset Tallinnaan. Länsiterminaali 1:sestä liikennöivät St Peter Line/Moby SPL:n laiva Pietariin ja Tallink Siljan MS Europa Tallinnaan. Hansaterminaalista, Vuosaaren satamasta pääset Travemündeen Finnlinesin aluksilla.

Kesäaikaan kansainväliset risteilyalukset vierailevat lähes 300 kertaa Helsingissä ja tuovat mukanaan melkein 500 000 matkustajaa.

Hyvää laivamatkaa toivottaa Helsingin Satama!

Tavaraliikenne ja alukset

Helsingin sataman tavaraliikenne on pääasiassa Suomen ulkomaankaupan tuontia ja vientiä. Tavaraa kuljetetaan konteissa, rekoissa, perävaunuissa ja vastaavissa suuryksiköissä.

Vuonna 2016 Helsingin Sataman kautta  kulki 11,6 miljoonaa tonnia tavaraa ja 11,6 miljoonaa matkustajaa.

Helsingin sataman kautta kuljetetun tavaran arvo on noin 50 % Suomen merikuljetusten arvosta. Helsingin Sataman markkinaosuus Suomen satamien kappaletavaraliikenteestä on 26 %.

A neat and well-organized port where you won't get lost – unless you’re the type to get lost getting off a tram. Modern facilities, clear signage (even without a crash course in Estonian), and everything feels calm and efficient. No chaos, no endless queues, just smooth sailing… almost literally. :)

But this place isn’t just about ferries and cruise ships. The port has roots dating back to the 13th century, when Tallinn was a key member of the Hanseatic League and a vital trading hub. Today, it mainly serves as the bustling sea link between Estonia and Finland – blink, and you’re already on your way to Helsinki.

So yeah – a port that actually works. And for once, you don’t check your ticket twenty times wondering if you’ve already...
