Burn & Shine - RAW BAR SMOKERY — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Being a Ragu fan, had high expectations for Burn & Shine. Unfortunately the first visit did not convince regarding the food.

The good: Raw bar tartar and scallop taco Service (even though wine recommendations where a bit here and there) Atmosphere Drinks The sauce set

The not-so-good: The warm bbq dishes: brisket could have been seasoned better, crispy chicken is something you'd expect having in fast food joints, truffle potatoes did not have a good truffle taste, chorizo was the only food that had real smoke taste but it was the only taste

Overall, quality of bbq was not really there. Technically okay but this should not be the level.

Hoping it was an off night for...

We were having dinner with colleagues.

There was cold and hot entrees. All was good and very tasty.

Main dishes were mostly smoked meat, fish and chicken with side dishes. Smoke tastes but not too much. Sides was nice also.

Desserts was maybe the most lame part of foods we take. But maybe it is just my issue.

Athmosphere is great, but music was way too loud for my taste. It was a bit hard to discuss while music was loud.
