Cafe Flemari20 — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

This café is truly a dream. I found it by chance, and I absolutely love it. I only wish I had discovered it earlier—unfortunately, it was just shortly before I was due to leave Helsinki.

The owner is incredibly friendly. He offered us a free sample of the pastries and gave us the leftover coffee instead of throwing it away. This place combines heartfelt service with little gestures of sustainability.

The furniture they sell appears to be upcycled, at least that’s my assumption, and the fact that they prefer giving away leftover coffee rather than wasting it speaks volumes regarding sustainability! It’s definitely a place worth recommending.

On top of that, you’ll find various artworks there, like paintings, pottery, and floral arrangements. I think I even heard that they occasionally host workshops for flower arranging and similar things.

Went there a couple weeks ago;

The place is an absolute BANGER for anyone who’s looking for a spacious, relaxing cafe with amazing sandwiches and other cafe meals in the capital area.

For a city joint, I expected a bland morning rush kind of meal, that someone would grab before a business meeting, yet the whole place totally blew away my expectations.

A great atmosphere, friendly service and a cheesy, fresh sandwich that I’d never get tired of.

I bet you wouldn’t be able to imagine it, until you tried it out for yourself, and I recommend doing exactly that! Go here with a friend or two, and you’ll be set for an amazing time.

This place is an absolute gem in Helsinki! The atmosphere is cozy and calming, the kind of place that makes you want to linger.
