Just before we had to end this mind-blowing vacation, we had another shot at a local restaurant experience but who would have thought that it is nearly impossible to spontaneously get a table at a restaurant serving local food in Rovaniemi around 4pm. They were either not open yet or had a massive wait but we were on a schedule and really hungry. So our second „Finnish Restaurant Experience“ was pretty much Tex-Mex. 😁 Generally, it was not a very special event but we left the place stuffed and that was what we came for. 😅 The food was good - not more and not less. Interesting was their rule on alcohol where you were not allowed to order any after 5pm anymore and at 6pm sharp they remove all alcoholic beverages from the table - no discussion. While this obviously is not a restaurant-specific rule, it was quite interesting when they came round and took all the glass - no matter whether they were empty or not. Food did come out warm and was good.

One of the items was boneless chicken—we literally go three small chicken nuggets. Another was chorizo—we got four child-sized bites of sausage.
For the amount of food we got, it should have been €12-15, but instead we paid triple that amount.
To top it off, they charged us €2 for a tiny bit of ketchup. Quite frustrating. We wouldn’t recommend...
