Paha Kurki Rockhouse — Restaurant in Rovaniemi sub-region

Excellent restaurant, perhaps. Excellent bar, definitely!

Early 2023, a few close friends and I landed at Rock-the-night looking to quench our thirst and hopefully to meet some locals from rovaniemi as well.

The exuberant looks from outside of the bar reelt us in. The inner decoration was matching the tone : guitars, records and rock band posters everywhere. However, the ambience wasn't loud and there is plenty of space for a good 20 persons to enjoy a drink while respecting each other's privacy. Eventually, we did break that very privacy as we decided to talk to a couple at the bar (we've been told the bar is one of the few opportunities you get at befriending Finnish people). We were very well welcomed!

If you look for a bar to have a "few quiet ones" and you have a group with manners (=not your usual loud and dumb tourists group), I strongly suggest you pay Rock the Night a visit!
