Dip Honest Food — Restaurant in Annecy

My partner and I went to this place to have dinner last night. The place was infested by flies, wasps and mosquitos and we were swatting them throughout dinner, which was really annoying. On wall behind us, there were dozens of flies as can be seen in the picture, but there were many wasps and mosquitoes flying around as well. We should have stood up and walk away tbh. The only passable thing was the food, which was okay. We ordered the EGGPLANT SCHNITZEL, the TRUFFLE RISOTTO and the FALAFEL PINK HOUMOUS. To be quite honest, you can have better falafels at any kebab shop for a fraction of the price. The two main dishes that we ordered were just okay, nothing extraordinary and frankly pretty overpriced (60€ in total) for the quality on offer. On a different topic, the tables were super close together, barely a palm away in between them, giving you zero privacy.

We went here for dinner on a Friday without a reservation. The place was quite full, but we didn't have to wait for a table. They had great food, aesthetically pleasing but also tasty. We ordered the pink hummus with falafel, sweet potato fried, and pita for dinner. I would say the food was sufficient for 2 of us and we were even getting full by the end of it. I liked that the restaurant was different, and I liked the falafel, pink hummus, and sweet potato fries. The rest of the food was just edible, but the chicken had not taste. The service was good, but incredibly slow even though there were very few customers. The lattes weren't enjoyable, but that could just have been my and my partner's personal taste. All in all, the meal was way overpriced for what we got. It was nothing exceptional in the end.
