Pura Vida — Restaurant in Annecy

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Poor customer service and a disappointing experience.

It’s overpriced, and the quality just isn’t there. I ordered a matcha latte (which was bitter) and a carrot cake that had a piece of paper inside. When I pointed it out to the waitress, she insisted it was a sunflower seed. I calmly explained that the texture was clearly different, the paper had visible fibers, while a seed breaks cleanly.

Rather than simply apologizing or offering a solution, they involved the manager, which turned into an unnecessary scene over a 4-euro slice of cake, a small issue that could’ve been handled professionally and politely.

In the end, I had to insist on getting a refund. I left disappointed, not because of the cake, but because of how poorly the staff handled a basic customer...

This is a very good place (and clean too) to take a breakfast (between 8 nd 11 a.m) or a brunch (11a.m - 15 p.m). There's a lot of healthy food to choose from, and the quality is amazing, for the service don't worry it's top notch (the personnel is always smiling and kind) the price follows too as it's not very expensive. Food and service was generally ok... Except that I had a piece of wire in my food. When showing this to the waitress she obviously apologised and said she would tell her manager.
