It wasn’t the worst experience, but the place feels like it’s really lacking in everything.
We sat outside as it looked like a cute area but the heat lamp near us was never turned on for us, unlike the diners further behind us. Unfortunately they were too far away for me to feel any benefit. So it was pretty cold.
We had ordered a traditional raclette to share but the price really didn’t seem worth it for the bare minimum portions you receive of boiled potatoes and deli meats from a store. Other restaurants give you a lot more for the same price.
The waiter also left us with the block of cheese and didn’t plug in the raclette grill for ages while we tried to grab their attention. They were also a bit careless about health and safety as the cord from the grill was then plugged in across a walkway, so people had to walk over it.
We decided to get out as soon as possible, so we didn’t stick around for dessert.
The staff are ok but they didn’t look suitably dressed with any uniform or professional clothing, they looked like any other customer wearing a jacket.
I wouldn’t bother...
Read moreWe went here for dinner without a reservation because the terrace looked pretty from the outside and the menu looked good to us. After we had to look up the menu via a qr-code on our phones, the service was very rushed. As a starter, we shared the ‘salmon ceviche’, which was served with a few large leaves of lettuce in a glass with pieces of sour salmon, a few pieces of prawn, sour cream and half a lemon. It was not flavoured and the quality was very poor, it was on the table within 3 minutes of us ordering it, which made it look like it was ready in advance. The entrecôte was not well cooked and of low quality, the steak tartare tasted mostly of Worcestershire sauce and came with a ball of 'burrata' that looked more like mozzarella. The service was very rushed and we were not listened to, it looked more like a bunch of friends who were there for fun than a real restaurant. This is pure mass production and occupying the place as often as possible, has nothing to do with...
Read moreConsidering that this place is located in a tourist-heavy area, they aren’t very nice to tourists.
The service was incredibly poor, especially when comparing how other French-speaking tourists were treated with far more respect and courtesy than us. While we didn't have high expectations, what left a lasting negative impression was the behavior of our male waiter. As I was settling the bill, he chose to mock me by mimicking my words in a high-pitched voice, including phrases like "thank you," "excuse me," and "hello." I wish he did so in an endearing manner, but he had been rude our whole stay there so this behavior came off as more rude than I would’ve liked. Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my...
