The restraunt round the corner is far better.

Honestly the worst Restraunt experience I've ever had. Me and my girlfriend where served by Gwen. On arival I asked her (in french) if she spoke English. Living on a small island not bordered by any other countries means that unfortunately we don't speak any o the languages. Her response was "why don't you speak french" She wasn't joking or even nice. She was just rude. Thing from there went from bad to worse 30 minutes to get a drink. Eventually another waitress brought us out order. Over 45 minutes for two salads to arrive whilst we watch others arrive after us and get served food and drink. Gwen didn't approach our table once to apologise for the wait. When I eventually went to the bar to ask where it was she went In to the kitchen and brought out the wrong food! When I told her it was wrong she said "I know" then turned her back on me and walked away. Other guests experienced a similar experience. Constantly rude. Never smiling. I'd advise Gwen to get a job where she doesn't have to speak to people,possibly a morgue or factory. I'd advise her bosses to fire her as your reviews are clearly bad. Not sure if Gwen was deffinitley her name. Glasses and dark hair small.

We came to Annecy without having breakfast, so we was quite hungry when we decided to choose the first restaurant. Unfortunately that was a big mistake. We ordered food and one of us wanted calamari as a starter. The waiter came with more calamari plates then we had ordered, so we kindly said that was wrong and sent them back. We just ordered one. So when they took back the calamari, one who looked like the boss man came back and said we have ordered calamari, and we responded that we just ordered one plate for at starter. He just left the calamari with us and went away. So we said to another waiter to take back the dish, because now we was flabbergasted about the service from them. We had do bring back the calamari three times!! and argue that we dont want to eat food we didnt order.

After that we had to wait an hour for our food, which probably contained spit anyway. And guess what? The bill came and it was plenty of calamari written down. At this point, we just paid and left the place.

There are a lot of good restaurants in Annecy. So my tips is to not stop at the...

Would give negative stars if I could. We had lunch here and were looking forward to a picturesque meal by the canal. The waiter comes by and spills a pint of beer all over me. Completely drenched from my head down my shirt to my trousers. We were understanding of the situation, however, at the end of the meal the wait staff completely ignored what had happened. They charged us the full bill and were unapologetic. They only begrudgingly waived the price of one beer (the one they had poured all over me) and refused to do any better than that. They kept raising that it was their waiter’s first day and was therefore entitled to make mistakes, completely missing the point that the customer should not be bearing the brunt of their inadequacies. We were understanding to this being his first day, but received no acknowledgement that the customer should not be made to suffer. As we expressed our displeasure, they even brought up calling the police to settle the dispute. Completely unacceptable service and attitude. DO NOT visit at risk of ruining...
