La table d'ébène — Restaurant in Annecy

We came without a reservation for 2, and they kindly showed us a table. Portable menu love that its a economy of plastics and paper. The atmosphere is just amazing, very good decoration and not stuffy very light and modest. The waiter is very nice and concerned. Now on to the food. It was just AMAZING, one of the best food experiences ever so far. We got the fish and chicken both where exquisitely done, the tastes combined together so well. Was very light as well. The attieke was so tatsy perfect accompany the dish. The plates where literally cleaned out, as well did the neighbours.

The desert was very generous, refreshing, light and so tasteful. The banana cake is...

We stumbled into this spot on our last night in Annecy, totally drawn in by the amazing smell coming from outside—and wow, did it deliver. Luckily, they had a table for two, and from the moment we sat down, everything just felt right. The vibe was cozy but still had that refined, special feel.

The food? Absolutely incredible. If I could give it a 12/10, I would. We cleaned our plates in under 10 minutes—every bite was packed with flavor. On top of that, the service was fantastic—super friendly and attentive without being over the top.

If you’re only going to eat at one place in Annecy, let it be this one. Total highlight...

Expérience sympa. Les saveurs sont bonnes. Donc voici les réflexions qui j'espère seront constructives pour vous... J'ai trouvé mon plat principal, la sauce trop salé, j'ai eu l'impression de manger du sel . Le sel est certes un exhausteur de goût mais trop gâche tout. (J'ai pas intérêt d'avoir des problèmes de santé) et mon poisson ( filet de rouget) trop cuit sec. Quand aux desserts il est bon ( m'a fait penser au pudding de ma grand mère) mais, trop sucré ( écoeurant) j'ai eu dû mal à le finir, et aussi dû mal à le digérer. Par contre je n'ai pas compris au niveau des ardoises ou sont écrits vos menus, il y en avait un petit avec écrit certaines choses et le grand autre chose ( sur le même plat sur une ardoise il était imposé la purée de pomme de terre et sur l'autre ardoise, il y avait en plus la purée de banane au choix) ... Attention à l'écriture . Désagréable de devoir déchiffrer mot par mot car très mal écrit et écrit en tout petit. De plus certains produits ne sont pas forcément connus, donc quand on essaie de déchiffrer et que l'on arrive pas à lire le nom du produit, c'est dommage.... J'ai pas osé tout faire déchiffrer au serveur tellement il y avait du monde. Et surtout une longue attente pour avoir le menu et la prise de commande Attente entre chaque plat long. On est arrivés pour 20 H et on est restés environ 2H30 dans le restaurant.... Je voulais tester vos rhume arrangés mais il était trop tard ... Serveur sympa. Les saveurs sont bonnes, le restaurant est une belle découverte. Tout est servi bien chaud. Ce qui est appréciable. Belle présentation... Ambiance chaleureuse...
