Beside it’s 1 minute to the train and bus station, I had a late trip, so I stopped at a place to eat, use the restroom, and stay warm. I ended up staying there for a while. Despite my long stay, the staff was incredibly friendly, even as it started getting colder. They offered me free Turkish tea and gave me free water without me having to ask, which was very kind and cozy. I didn't feel like a stranger there at all. We ate here after arriving at the train station in Annecy with a tired kid who needed the toilet. The toilet functions but the faucet doesn’t —thank goodness for hand sanitizer! The chicken kebab hit the spot and the kofte was fine, both served with pilaf and fries and salad. The waiter was cheerful and kind.
