Canoa Café - Empanadas y Ceviches — Restaurant in Avignon

Food is good, but service is terrible from the guy serving us, which appears to be a recurring theme in other reviews.

Firstly, when we decided to sit down it wasn't made clear that half of the flavours of empanadas were already sold out/not available. Okay, we ordered what they have left, fair enough. Then we asked for 2 plates, the guy only allowed us to have one, citing that the wooden board the empanadas were served on counted as a plate. I mean, what restaurant refuses a customer and extra plate?!? Horrendous service.

We found this cute cafe when we were walking the neighborhood. It was a unique opportunity to discover new savors and dishes. We ended up stopping by 2 days in row during our visit in Avignon 🥰 The coco lemonade was very refreshing and surprising! My husband ordered it both 2 times! I recommend it. If you love sweet coffee, I would also recommend Spanish latte as well. Firstly, we absolutely loved sitting out on the street with the bustling atmosphere of this restaurant, all the servers were really friendly and spoke English, French and Spanish. Their homemade iced tea was absolutely delicious and so refreshing.
