This place is small and charming! As visitors from the US, it’s exactly what we were hoping for – a hidden gem tucked away in an alley. The restaurant is run by one man who acts as the host, chef, and server. After a delayed train left us feeling discouraged, this little spot reminded us why we love to travel. The owner was incredibly kind, and his food was both comforting and delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, a pizza, and a mushroom pasta – all of which were fantastic. The pizza crust had the perfect chew, and our daughter loved the sparkling lemonade drink he recommended to her. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have rocket (roquette) or arugula on top. Instead I got spinach, large coarse leaves. I didn't want to complain, thinking they were out of rocket, but then noticed the people next to me all received fresh rocket (roquette) on their pizza.
