Sat outside to eat at first. If you like smoke in your face while eating this is the place for you… went inside as it was unbearable. Once we got inside we order the entrecôte medium rare and were very excited because of the 4.5 star reviews. My daughter had chicken nuggets and chips which were ok. The steaks were chewy and bland. The sauce was distinctly average. Not a great way to spend 25 euros. I ate mine because I was so hungry. My partner didn’t touch hers after the first mouthful. Nobody came to ask how was the food, so we didn’t say anything until we got the bill. When we got the bill we thought they would simply remove one of the steaks. Simple right?? No, it was our fault we had ordered the steak medium rare. The waiter then told me that they wouldn’t remove this because it is too much of a loss for them. I asked what he would expect if he went out to a restaurant and the food was inedible?? He said it was still my fault. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. We asked a couple behind us how their steak was and they said it was bad but ate it because they were catching a flight. I don’t know if it was just a bad piece of meat we and the other couple had but this experience was awful from start to finish. I don’t know how this is rated 4.5 stars on here and if you do go, do not...

Nice atmosphere on entrance. The music is somewhat too loud, but it is honestly not much to complain about. I had the burger (can't remember the exact name) it is unique to a certain level that instead of the standard load of chips / fries on the plate, there are 'potato straws' inside the burger which add a nice crunch and a bonus after finishing you get to eat the ones that fell out. It's simply an excellent combination of components that make one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. After that culinary excellence, I had the creme brulee, which I had always wanted to try up to that point and exceeded my expectations, I expected it to all be warm. Which it wasn't it comes with a freshly toasted sugar surface with nice cold vanilla mousse beneath, my only dislike is that in places the sugar was burnt too much but it isn't really something to point out, it's quite insignificant to the overall amazing taste. But my only real complaint is that in the toilet, the tap water is scolding like easily 50°+ so thanks quite appauling. Despite my only complaint, I would still recommend visiting and especially trying the burger +...

I didn't get to eat as uniformed dude didn't understand that between Belgium and France the wait after your last vaccine is one week. He rejected my Covid card. Probably because he didn't get I was from Brussels and assumed I was English speaking. I'm assuming this as he responded to my French in English. Instead of asking (eventhough my covid card is in French) he was RUDE and dismissive. So I went a few doors down to Ours cafe and had a 5 star lunch with an amazing staff and an arrogance free meal. So delightful I will always go there and flip off the HH as the only resto in France during my vacation who was assy about my Covid card. To make a point I've had more than one round of vaccine and I don't need a little boy judgment on my medical Stat. All he had to do was ask I had the information stored...

Even though we wanted to have traditional French cuisine but French restaurants didn’t open on Monday and during the time we wanted to have dinner. This restaurant was the best review in this area and surprisingly, it was really wonderful! The service was very nice, even though we couldn’t speak French but staff members were nice enough to communicate with us in English and they were so pleasant. Omg, the fried chicken was 10 out of 10 as other reviews said! The beef was really nice, the dumplings and its sauce were amazing! And fresh vegetables! The atmosphere was cozy and warm welcome too! Couldn’t be more happier with this decision! They also had many drinks menus both wine list and beers.

Absolutely loved our meal here at Hush Hush. It's opened on Mondays! We had the best salmon ever here, perfected poached and perfectly seasoned with a fusion miso cream sauce that was to die for. The burger and fries were the best we have had in a while. From ordering to getting the food took 40 minutes even though we were one of the first ones to order from 12pm but the food was too good so it didn't matter. The fondant au chocolate desert was also amazing, it was like a flourless chocolate cake that was just the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. We would love to come back twice a week.
