We where staying in an apartment in Chartrons and came across this bar when walking along the river front.
We visited 4 time and each time was excellent. The team speak great English and despite my bad French. First time was on our first day where we were looking for something light to eat and we saw that they had 2 for 1 tacos on Tuesdays. The tacos where excellent, the staff even got nachos for us that where not on the menu that day.
Most of the other times we stopped for cocktails as it was very hot in Bordeaux when we where there. The cocktails where delicious and honour their classical tiki routes.
Many thanks to the team at Papillon, we definitely recommend and would totally visit again if we where ever in...
Read moreThis is a "California-Inspired" Tiki Bar. I am from California. Born and Raised. I have been to many Tiki Bars in my life time, from Tiki Tom's in Walnut Creek to Smuggler's Cove in San Francisco.
While Bordeaux is the Wine Mecca of the world, this is the place to go if you want some excellent cocktails. The vibes are immaculate. The owner is incredible. My friends and I tried over 7 different drinks... and in the words of Drake, "All Hits, NO MISSES, that's for the married folks", every single drink was absolutely amazing.
I will be recommending this place to all of my friends visiting Bordeaux. THANK YOU DIMITRI!! YOUR...
