This review is for two visits. Yes, we enjoyed it so much. We decided to go back again… And we had almost the same dish! A first for us in decades of travel. That alone should speak to the quality and flavors of what we were served. This wonderful Vietnamese restaurant was on the corner of the street where we stayed. The first time we walked past and caught a scent of the amazing aroma‘s coming from it. We knew we had to eat there. The places run by a husband and wife team, he runs the front of house and she is the chef. Both of them are amazing at what they do. The place is small, so you may want to book a table as they do get busy. Also, they do take away if you want to eat at home. We were greeted with warmth and kindness, and his broken English fit perfectly with my broken French. Both of our visits were filled with laughter and conversation. It’s so nice to be treated like you were a regular customer who lives in the area. The chef is wonderfully clever, as she takes traditional Vietnamese food and elevates it. Neither of us had eaten Bún Chá before, but when we saw it on the menu, we decided to give it a try. Wow! She’s taking a straightforward street food and layered the flavors in delicately. The first night we had the pork version of it, which includes some beef, but is mainly poor oriented and a little bit spicy. Absolutely amazing! The second night, they had run out of pork and were serving a beef version. So we went with it. Those similar, the flavor experience was different, a little sweeter and a little less spicy. Also really delicious! Of the two, we have to say we preferred the pork but only by a snout lol. Our first night we had samosas appetizers, which were small filled triangles, which you wrapped in lettuce and then dipped in a vinegar sauce. Delicious! The second night we went with the fried potstickers, which they called ravioli. Also absolutely wonderful. We opted for the half carafe of house wine each night and we’re not disappointed at all. The prices are great, with appetizer and two mains with drinks landing right around €44 each night. For what we received in the experience we had it was a total bargain! Do not miss this wonderful hidden gem!

Small portions for the price. Food took thirty minutes to come after ordered. Flavour was okay but they didn’t provide the usual condiments, like the herbs and limes.

Are you a travelling Asian? Love Vietnamese food? Do you miss a hot Pho? Do yourself and get their Pho. Its good, really good. Just pricey for the small portion.

Wonderful family restaurant run by a lovely French-Vietnamese couple. The food is to die for - freshly prepared for you with authentic mouth-watering ingredients. Better Vietnamese food than we'd even had in Vietnam. Please don't come here if you are in a hurry - this is a high quality experience for people who appreciate food...
