LITTLE ITALY COLMAR — Restaurant in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

2 stars for charging nearly 8€ for a beer that was consumed at the bar and not even totally full. The cannolo was ok (I got it to take away because I didn't want to pay an extra €2,40 to eat it there), but definitely not fresh. The shell was soft.

The bar is on an empty street so it's not like you should be paying extra for the view. I'm always be suspicious of a place that doesn’t publish their prices online (at least, they don't for drinks) and who don't give you a menu (or have a menu out the front).

Friday night and our first night in Colmar. Since we'd already allocated Saturday to splash out on fine dining we agreed on a good old pizza for now. The photos we saw on the reviews for Little Italy had us both salivating. Sadly the reality left us feeling somewhat underwhelmed. The service was mediocre at best and the atmosphere almost as bland as the pizzas which we resorted to dousing with chilli oil, salt and pepper for flavour. Original comment: They ask you to buy a full pizza per person, even when you also order side dishes/ salads, beverages, etc. The waitress has a bad mood and bad service. Basically, made us leave because of not ordering as much as they wanted. I ate there before and the food was nothing special. Not worth it. We ended going a nicer restaurant with better food and...
