Kalkan Döner — Restaurant in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

The owner is very rude, also the woman wasn’t very welcoming. Also we waited outside for 30 minutes, but it wasn’t worth it. Worst experience and worst kebab. When we wanted to pay, they told us they don’t accept carte bancaire although they put that they accept more than 12€, so they suggested to go get money from the bank which was in front of them because we didn’t have money. Also, we had luggages with us because we were traveling today, they were very rude, and when we entered he started shouting and nagging. If you want to be respected, never go to this restaurant. Because you get nothing but a horrible experience with terrible food...

I visited Kalkan doner today, a kebab restaurant with a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant was well-maintained, However, the experience fell short in a few areas.

We ordered two kebabs: one standard and one Iskander. To our surprise, both looked exactly the same, with no noticeable difference between the two. While the food itself was decent, it wasn’t anything extraordinary to justify the price. The bill was surprisingly high—$39 for two kebabs and tea. If you respect yourself don’t go there. Owner was extremely rude. I basically asked the menu he argumentatively told me that no need for the menu and wanted me to look over counter sign, than i asked what he would suggest than he goes “ how can i know whats your stomach can handle, just doner take it or whatever” I wish city of colmar periodically inspect these kind of restaurants in order to keep this nice city...
