We visited this spot early in the evening without a reservation, hoping to enjoy a full dinner. The host suggested we start on the patio which had a limited menu for drinks and appetizers, and mentioned that we could move inside for dinner later — which made it seem like there were plenty of tables available.
A couple of hours later, when we checked back in to move inside for dinner, the experience took a disappointing turn. The host was surprisingly rude, obnoxious and dismissive, offering no explanation beyond “there’s no availability now” and walking away abruptly. When one of our friends politely followed up, they were also met with unprofessional and curt behavior — this time being told there was no waitstaff available to serve the inside tables.
It felt misleading, as if we were encouraged to stay for drinks with the promise of dinner, only to be brushed off later.
To be fair, the view is beautiful and the waitstaff we did interact with were friendly and attentive. But the experience with the host really soured the evening. There are plenty of great places in St. Tropez with similar views and much better hospitality — I’d recommend trying one of...
Read moreWorst service in St-Tropez so far. It started when they couldn't offer the tempura assortiment for some reason however you could still make your own assortiment which would've been the exact same thing but a lot more expensive. Then our food came to our cable cold. The sushi we ordered was missing crucial ingredients, the manager came over and brought out a new same order that was still missing the same things. We ordered the caramelised ribs but they still hadn't arrived after more then an hour after or starters. We asked for a cocktail menu halfway our wait but no one asked again if we would like another drink. We ended up cancelling the ribs because at that point we were absolutely appalled by this whole debacle!
Honestly they were lucky to receive payment at all. The waitress said 'this wasn't my fault', everything was here fault, bad service, missing food, being ignored,...
We sat under the very nice trees with nice view, what we thought was rain was actually tree sap and left marks on our clothes as well, so if you are planning on going with your designer clothes, DON'T.
To top it off this super deluxe restaurant is incapable of serving...
Read moreAvoid, horrifically rude staff and problem with wasps. Manua was outstandingly rude - we ordered sushi which seemed to be a magnet for wasps and after struggling trying to swat several of them away and even walking around with our sushi trying to get rid of the wasps for several minutes we had to approach staff to ask to move inside briefly to eat (despite many other guests seeing our struggle and trying to help, staff chose to ignore our situation). I approached the hostess (who was very pleasant which made a welcome change in Le Tigrr) but Manua come over and interrupted our conversation, proceeded to look me up and down and sarcastically asked what I wanted him to do about the situation. I asked to move inside for 5 minutes to eat and come back to our table which he bluntly refused and said tables are not to be held. I’m not sure what role Manua plays at Le Tigrr but other than being diva (appalling attitude and outfit change half hour into our visit) we only observed him sip drinks at the bar and bring a bad vibe to an otherwise...
