We came for the first session of dinner (8:30-10:30pm) on the 16th of July. We were kind to the waiters as per usual and we wanted to relax and order slowly as the restaurant was empty most of the time and we were in no rush to leave. The male waiters in return were extremely rude towards our slow ordering, many times they were laughing at us and gossiping because we were ordering slowly and at one point they even totalled up our bill on the card machine and then laughed with each other, perhaps because we didn’t order the most expensive items. We are a young group that just came to experience this restaurant, we shared the food both entrees and mains, and took our time to order because we wanted to enjoy the restaurant. However the laughing and gossiping by all the male waiters made it a very uncomfortable experience.
At one point we had a few bites left of our dessert on the plate and one of the male waiters came to took it away to rush us off the table, even though half the restaurant was still empty, yet I said “please we are still nibbling at this”, which was true. He proceeded to give a smirk look and then turn to the waiter who was serving us and laugh while shaking their heads. This was right in front of us this time. They also laughed because we split the bill between us.
I really struggle to find a reason for laughing and mocking a group of young people who are nothing but kind, just because maybe we didn’t order the most expensive champagne (keep in mind we spent a lot for us, around €400, which maybe isn’t a lot here compared to what others spend).
Although the waiters serving the restaurant were “fake nice” towards us, we still stayed afterwards in the club and I must mention the staff in there were super friendly and accomodating and it was fun. Overall very disappointed with the terrible service of the male waiters...
Read moreWe got there with a group of probably 20 people for a reservation we had and they said I couldn't come as I didn't have pants on even though I had a nice outfit collared shirt ect. And then once we looked in we saw that there was probably about 20 people with shorts that i could see and it was just really frustrating. I understand that we're not meeting the dress code. But i saw a bunch of people in bathing suits shorts, basketball shorts, linen shorts. It was really frustrating not to mention my friends came home and said the food was "meh" portions were tiny and the food was just not that great, when there's like 5 other restaurants in the area. I would recommend not going here and going to the restaurant actually right next. Their excuse was that these people with shorts had actually entered the building at 9:00 and at 9:30 or something dress code changes which I thought was a lie. So If you're in this area I would actually go to La Ramade, Luna Rossa or Zuma St. Tropez. And icing on top was that they said maybe you can buy pants off somebody or fine pants at 10:30 at night when everything's...
Read moreI tried to hop from one bar to another, after La Petite Plage I wanted to come here. It was a Monday nigth though, seems that most bars were closing around 1 AM. This one was still open, so approached the bouncer and asked for entrance. Before me there were some guys, they spoke French to the host who decides who's getting in. The bouncer then translated to me that the host just said to the guys that the bar is closng, but I could still ask the host to get in. When I saw that the host still let the guys in, I also asked to get in obviously. Even though the host seemed nice when talking to and he also told me that bar is closing, for some reason he only let the guys in and me as a woman who asked for just one drink before closing, he rejected to let me in and said as an excuse that it would be a shame to let you in and while you have your drink the lights go on and you have to leave. Then why did you let the white guys in? Another host just gave me a card and I just left and only said bye to the bouncer. Was I...
