Maison Revka Saint-Tropez — Restaurant in Draguignan

What a disappointment. We absolutely loved this place last year, everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the service. Sadly, this time was a completely different experience.

We were served by a long-haired waiter who was rude, unaccommodating, and made no effort to explain the menu or the dishes we ordered. For such a beautiful and renowned place, the lack of professionalism was shocking.

Even worse, the staff started clearing and clinking glasses around us while we were still seated, creating an unpleasant and rushed atmosphere. It felt like they couldn’t wait for us to leave.

The only positive notes: a kind and helpful female waitress and the food, which was truly excellent. Congratulations to the chef, who seems to be the only one doing their job properly.

We had a confirmed reservation at Maison Revka in Saint-Tropez for my sister’s birthday. We—two Black women, stylishly dressed—arrived promptly at opening time.

Despite the restaurant being empty, we were asked to “wait 2 minutes.” Those two minutes turned into over 10 minutes, with no explanation or effort to seat us. It was clear there was no real interest in serving us.

When we politely said we would leave and cancel our reservation, the staff member’s reaction was noticeably relieved—accompanied by a smile.

For us, it was obvious this was not about organizational issues but about exclusion—subtle, yet palpable.

Saint-Tropez stands for style, but also hospitality. We experienced neither that day, which was especially disappointing given...

First of all, if it’s raining they will not sit you. Keep it in mind. Food is tasty, but service is quite poor. They brought us a couple of dishes without some ingredients, because they forgot about it. If you ask for wine recommendations, they just bring the most expensive glass out of menu. They will try to fool you every time they can. Our friend ordered a dish from menu “nuggets with caviar” which was suppose to be 78 euro all together, but they brought nuggets and caviar separately for 200 euro.
