Brasserie Le Casanova — Restaurant in Grasse

Walked out of this place because of the rude attitude of one of the server. Arrived for lunch, sat down, ordered drinks and lunch. Drinks arrived without ice, I asked for ice, they brought ice in a tall drinking glass. My sister doesn’t want ice so I used the tall glass with the ice for myself. My sister noticed the glass was cracked so we call we one of the server over and asked to replace it. She came back with a new tall glass (without ice in it), and said: “the glass you used was for ice, not to drink from” I said “oh ok, sorry” then I said “could you add use in this glass!” She grabbed the glass out of my hand looking upset, walked away and as she was walking away she said “how about please?”. I turned to my sister and ask her if she said what I thought she said, my sister confirmed. So when she came back I told her that I didn’t appreciate the condescending comment she made. She looked at me and said “you were very rude!” At this point we got up, walked up to the hostess and said “we will not be eating in a restaurant where the waitress talk to customers that way”. First visit there was a pleasant experience, friendly staff and prompt service, had a steak dinner with a drink and enjoyed it, but on my second visit service was just as prompt and I ordered the same meal. On its arrival the steak was hidden under a sea of sauce with blood coming from underneath it, as I had ordered well done this was not a good sign. Chips were good but when I tried to cut the streak it was like wood, solid on the outside and bloody in the middle. Also it was 75% fat and gristle not nice in any way, on calling one of the staff over to complain he immediately got who I assumed was the manageress who listened to my complaints and basically said the same as my steak Tough ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!! Horrible! The waiters are incompetent. The service is unfriendly, phlegmatic, slow and condescending. I wanted to have dinner with my girlfriend. We sat down at the table and the waiter immediately came over and rudely said that you have to EAT here!!!! (we wanted to have dinner...) We ordered 2 Aperols, a pizza and a salad (tuna salad) The salad was bad! I ate 2 bites of it. I told the waiter that the salad was not good. The pinet's answer: You almost ate it!
