It was soo nice to enjoy some Thai food while traveling through Europe! I do love French and Italian food, but it gets a little old (and heavy) after a while. My sister and I were famished after a long day of traveling, thankfully Chai Dee had room for us outside on a Monday evening! We split a green papaya salad as well as the vegetarian pineapple fried rice. It was a hot day so the papaya salad was nice and refreshing. The fried rice was flavorful and made the meal complete. I appreciate that they have some vegetarian/vegan options. It would be nice if tofu were available but I can't complain given it is the south of France and they aren't always open to plant-based folks. A glass of rose helped wash it all down. Read moreWhile in Cannes, we were looking for a quick bite to grab while we were out and about. Initially, we had another spot in mind, but after reading all the good reviews, we decided to check Chai Dee out instead. I’m happy we did! We ordered almost every appetizer on the menu, and they did not disappoint! I will come back whenever I’m back in Cannes!

Didn’t want to dispute his confidence. Food came salty…and not exactly Thai. Beef, in the green curry, came medium raw and was difficult yo chew. Pad Thai came with little bean sprout, scarce egg and missing grounded peanuts. Pad Thai does not come with broccoli! My neighbouring diners had pineapple fried rice which looked dark brown….like there was an overdose of curry powder. They complained that it was too salty. Hmmmmm…didn’t the waiter said they don’t use salt in their dishes? A consolation. Their vegetarian spring rolls was OK. Can give this...
