Hallo, we are a tourist couple who wanted today to make the big tour with the “le petit train in” Cannes. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the guy who was responsible for the clients. We asked exactly if there is going to be the tour at 4.30 o clock and he said of course, you can take a seat and I will come to be payed. So we were sitting and we were waiting with patients until 4.50 o clock without response from anybody there. 4 people werde hanging out and we’re talked and talked without giving any notice. Until I went asking if we are finally going to start the tour. Everyone from this 4 guys were extremely unfriendly, rude and ironic, saying that they are not making the tour because we are only 4 persons in the train. The problem is, that they saw as all this time sitting there and they didn’t had the kindness to inform us about this. €10/adult, €5/child for the big tour to visit the old town and the cost. 48 seats in it. It is enough but don't come at the last minute because it is quickly filled. The train comes 15-20 early to take passengers. It starts and finishes right in front of the stairs of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès so it is easy to find.
Headsets will tell you everything about the town in 8 languages (FR, EN, IT, ES, DE, ...). The devices are a bit old but the use a simple jack so you can plug in your own pair.
Everything is interesting and it's a good way to discover...
Read moreWe rode the train on a recent visit to Cannes on a cruise. The cost was 14 euro per person cash only. They said the next train was at 12:30 but it didn’t leave until after 12:45. There are headsets on the train to hear a little information in multiple languages but many of the head sets are broken and I could not listen. The train was bumpy and there were plexiglass windows on one side that were harder to take pictures through. The train stopped at the top of the hill-and it was only supposed to be ten minutes but they took longer. We would not care but we were all worried we would not make it back to the...
