I’ve been coming back to this place for more than 15 years and it’s one of the best French food experiences in Cannes.

First of all, they have a pre fix menu which is everything you need to order if you want to get a real Provençal gastronomic experience. The real staples of the menu are: fried whitebait with tartare sauce, classic fish soup with croutons and ruille, selection of raw seafood (extra € but it worth it), steamed mussels, Niçoise Salad. These are classics!

Then comes a second course: fish of the day (is always great), ravioli with slices of veal, steak tartare (if you like raw beef), and everything else is delicious too. I’m just mentioning my personal favorites. All the portions here are HUGE and you wouldn’t be able to eat everything. But who said you shouldn’t try and stuff yourself with all this deliciousness? 😜

Ok, now, when you’re ready - DESSERTS (all included in the prefix menu): panna cotta with raspberries (big enough to feed a rhino), chocolate profitroles (yuuuummm!), different ice creams and floating island with soft merengue and almond flakes. Come here hungry otherwise you’re going to miss dessert!

For those who give this place negative reviews - guys, this is a FRENCH place. Wear a proper attire, don’t look like you just came from the gym. This is a place where people enjoy and celebrate food, they have table cloths on their tables…

Try not to ask for substitutions, get whatever seems better for your diet. They have vegetarian and seafood options, all-raw dishes, etc. If you’re allergic to seafood - don’t take seafood. And if you come here expecting to get a burger and a glass of mojito - don’t be surprised if server is not going to be all over you.

Beautiful place, can’t wait...

This restaurant was one of the best price/quality in my list of restaurants in Cannes until this year, but this year we were completely disappointed in everything, I can not recommend it to anyone. Everything has changed there and the staff and the quality of food and service. Yesterday's birthday party was completely ruined. We booked 2 days ago and asked for a balcony as always but we were told this time we don't book balconies come at 7 well we could still figure out we came as they said at 7 o'clock around the clock but still I reserved a table so as not to be left without anything if I was suddenly late, since it was Friday. On Friday at 7 we arrived in advance, and we were suddenly announced that the upper floor was closed, the balconies were not serviced, as there were not enough staff. Then why is it said to come at 7 for that? As a result, they did not even reserve a table, although they asked for a birthday. We found a place somewhere we absolutely won't sit, although the restaurant was still almost empty when we arrived. But how we regretted that we didn’t leave right away, since the problem was not only with the reservation, but also with the food, the meat was disgusting, overcooked, not fresh, the vegetables were as overcooked as porridge, as if they had left dinner and just warmed up. I ordered half-baked meat and it seemed to be cooked for 1 hour and poured with sauce. Only the dessert is normal, but the mood is gone. We threw out about 100 euros without alcohol, just in the trash, but the most important mood was spoiled, instead of enjoying this evening, we barely stuffed something into ourselves to satisfy our hunger. A complete disappointment in this restaurant. We won't...

The food was the highlight. Delicious and well priced. The service was lacking from some servers. The lady who greeted us was part way through seating us when she started speaking to a group with a reservation, she allowed them to interrupt and proceeded to call them through to seat them and then returned to us afterwards. It was incredibly rude and we didn't feel valued as customers. On the other hand one very good server noticed I was trying to translate the French menu and handed us the English one, he was very attentive and pleasant. The restaurant was busy but didn't feel like it was buzzing as it just felt frantic. We got approached by two servers at the same time on one occasion who ended up speaking over eachother and couldn't seem to decide who was doing what. It felt rushed and hectic around us throughout the meal. Plates were dropped down infront of you with little grace and most servers (not all) were obviously rushed and therefore didn't provide good service. As I said the food and price...

On the main strip in Cannes this appears to be just another tourist restaurant.. how wrong to assume such. Especially at night this delightful establishment offers attentive service with some of the freshest seafood available in this beautiful city. The selection of both wine and seafood is extensive... as it is predominantly a seafood restaurant.. though many other meats are available.. I would strongly suggest staying with the seafood. The price is reasonable..considering the quality as well as the ambience and 5 star fit out of this gorgeous restaurant..in winter I suggest booking a table inside. The service is professional is not overly friendly.. however was never rude and always courteous. Considering we had starters... mains and dessert the price of 60 Euros per person was more the acceptable. Definitely worth the experience if you are searching for fine dining options for seafood 😋

I had a very bad experience with this restaurant, regarding an incident with a box "to go". When I asked the waiter to put my second order for "take away" they put the food in a big box of ice cream(much bigger then the food), and when I went down with the big box to ask if it's normal and why don't they have special boxes for take away, the chief was very arrogant, he was making jokes about the box, but I was very serious about that, so he brought a special box in the end, asking me with arrogance if "it's ok?" so I realised they made a bad joke. I said "NO, not at all" and I turned my back and left, leaving him very surprised. Huh?! The waiter at the table was nice, but they were always in a rush, although the restaurant inside wasn't full. I had to wait longer for them to take the order, than for the food itself. Bathroom very dirty.
