Parthenopi — Restaurant in Grasse

ABOVE AND BEYOND DELICIOUS. Family business, the owner comes out at times to ask if you’re enjoying your meal and speaks to you in Greek (if you’re being nice). She really cares, and that’s so rare…we fell in love with the exceptional service.

All staff are very kind and also Greek - which contributes to the vibe. The food is authentically Greek and very fresh & tasty.

We tried both - lamb and fish of the day. Both selections were fabulous. Greek salad has the best feta I’ve ever tried.

The olives that they bring out as an appetizer are ecstatically delicious…salivating from the only thought. They carefully select all the ingredients. Naturally, their tzatziki is amazing as well.

I can’t name a single dish that wouldn’t be perfect. And when (and if) you make it to dessert, be prepared for an incredible taste. When you think it couldn’t get any better, they treat you more and more.

Also, the atmosphere is very cozy and the design is beautiful. We came back twice within 3 days of our trip :D cannot wait for next time.

Bravo to the owners for staying true to their values and authenticity, despite the popularity of the place. 5 stars from me and wishing you a Michelin one day :)

If I could put more than 5 starts I would!! The food was stunning - absolutely lush!! The hospitality was next level, it felt like you went for dinner at your grandmothers house. The owner, Parthenopi along with her staff, treated us like family and went above and beyond to please us, making sure we had a fantastic experience. I was recommended this place by a colleague who was local. The first night I went there, the kitchen was about to close but they still served me Pork Souvlaki for takeaway, which was was mouthwatering. It reminded me of the quality of food you can find in Greece. The next evening I went there with some of my colleagues and we had a variety of starters, hummus, pittas, feta htipiti and melitzanosalata and dips. Everything was beautiful! For the main dish I had grilled octopus and I couldn't have enough of it. It was an explosion of taste! The greek desserts were superb as well. All of my colleagues were stoked with everything and we kept recommending it to our other colleagues. Some of them went a couple of days after and they kept raving about it. It's a must place to eat if you are in Cannes! I can't wait to go...

This was the worst service experienced in french riviera. We came around 18:30 when they were not open for dinner yet and asked to seat on the outside tables to wait, were refused and that was fine but the waitress was giving us a side eye and repeated "c'est pas possible " to her colleague 4 times. We left to wait on the side of the street and when came back at 19:00 and came in without standing in front of the door and waiting to be seated, the waitress did a very impolite hand gesture looking at her colleague like "what the hell are they doing". Only because of that hand gesture we already wanted to leave but just decided to ignore that and sat. During the whole time she was as sarcastic and ironic as at the start and was doing a sarcastic minute pause before explaining any simple thing , rolling her eyes on everything. I have no idea how the manager employed her , I guess she has to be relative to someone. My friend recommended this place as she said the owner is a very nice lady and the food is good, we felt like in a irony theatre, the weirdest experience in a restaurant. The food however was delicious, will never recommend...
