NEW EDIT: I reflected on what happened to us and it is a tourist trap. I went there especially for sharing some small plates. We were placing the order which in reality would have come up to ~€50 (2 starters of €2.50 and 2 mains of €18-20)+ water and a glass of juice, but the DR. recommended “his speciality” (which was because he ran out of chicken and did not have Dr Taouk and said he will bring some sausage and some plates to share instead)… We ended up with things that we have not ordered, themselves excusing that they are at the beginning of their business and they want to treat their customers well, saying that if we cannot finish we take away. The food was delicious, we did eat most of them. When you finish eating they beg for a 5 star review, before paying, of course. And then in the end I did anticipate: €107 bill in 2 people. So just be aware, don’t get tricked by the baklava made by mother story neither.
Below you can find my review, but they probably forgot that the reviews are editable. Sorry, but if you are a tourist, better eat somewhere else.
We were lucky to find a free table for 2. You better reserve. All the plates were super flavourful and various with abundant portions. Great spices, sauces and meats, which we really craved. They even served their own homemade cranberry juice. Top lebanese I’ve tried in many...

We ordered their mezze platter — a generous assortment featuring creamy hummus, silky aubergine, vine leaves, falafel, tabbouleh, and more — and were delighted by the range of vegetarian and vegan options available. Each plate was a riot of color and texture, made from exceptionally fresh ingredients. The high quality and careful preparation were evident in every bite, delivering pure flavor without overwhelm.
The atmosphere at Dr. Meze is sophisticated yet warmly welcoming, reflecting its Lebanese roots with stylish decor and intricate details. The restaurant successfully maintains a classy ambiance while honoring its cultural heritage — a perfect setting for both a romantic dinner or a festive meal with friends.
The service was another highlight, thanks to the attentive and charming team led by SALAH EDDINE. His knowledge of the menu, his helpful suggestions, and his sincere kindness made us feel at home and truly cared for.
Dr. Meze offers a remarkable blend of flavor, ambiance, and service — a wonderful dining experience that resonates long after the last...

Discovered this new spot in the heart of Cannes and I can’t recommend it enough. Dr Mezzé is a small, family-style restaurant that’s serving seriously delicious food, full of flavor and made with love.
I had the cornet au poulet with tahini and some feuilles de vigne, and wow—absolutely incredible. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the tahini added just the right richness. The vine leaves were fresh, tangy, and packed with flavor. You can tell everything is made from scratch with care.
But what really sets this place apart is the owner—genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve met. Warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food and the experience. You feel like you’re eating at a friend’s table, not just in a restaurant.
In a city full of touristy spots, Dr Mezzé is the real deal. It’s a place with soul, and it deserves to be discovered and loved. If you’re anywhere near Rue Meynadier, go support this gem. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning...
