Came here for a birthday dinner party with nine girls their reservation was booked well in advance. My friends and I all sat down at a table While my run friend was running behind a bit late. Upon arriving, she was told that she was not able to enter the restaurant because she was wearing sneakers. She was told that she could “wear heels instead”. Firstly, The sneakers that she was wearing were Burberry platforms, far from casual looking. Secondly, my friend is a mask presenting lesbian who has not worn heels a day in her life. The kicker is that a Couple at the table next to us was also wearing sneakers that looked like fitness trainers and were way less expensive and fashionable than my friends sneakers. Upon asking the door men, if they could make an exception, we were told no so me, and my other friends got up and walked away from the table and declined dining with them. Shockingly, upon exiting I was stopped with a $28 tab for four bottles of both sparkling and flat water that nobody ever ordered! I refuse to pay, and after a short back-and-forth, we were allowed to just leave.
This place would never receive a sent from me and I suggest that no one else dined there as well. They are homophobic And discriminatory.
I can understand the standard was consistent, but there were plenty of other people wearing way less trendy sneakers in the establishment so of course it leads us to believe that there is...
Read moreIt was on a saturday night we had a reservation at Luigi with some friends. When arrived we wanted to enter, but the director of the restaurant was arguing saying that one of our friends could not enter because she was wearing a boot that was not classy or branded enough for Luigi. At the beginning I Totally understood, but I tried to talk with the Director telling him that please next time just inform us on the phone when making a reservation and that it’s ok I will go get my friend a shoe from my home in Cannes. Then he started arguing with me telling me that « yes we can’t put on our website that we do not accept customers wearing specific brands such as nike, Uggs and so on », he told me it’s ok you can stay or leave. Therefore, we decided to all leave the restaurant because he made us feel like he was ok if we did. Unfortunately, it is sad to see that a restaurant with such a good cuisine gave us such a bad image. My friends told me that they were not surprised because the restaurant had really bad...
Read moreI am providing a 1 star review for 3 reasons that have left me appalled: We ordered a bottle of tequila and a bottle of gin. Upon drinking the bottle of tequila we realised they had diluted it with cinammon-flavoured water. They admitted their « mistake » and replaced it. They asked us pay 900 euros despite our order amounting to 750 euros. We had to discuss several times with them before they acknowledged their « mistake » once again. We arrived at the club at 1.30, we asked for the opening hours before committing to a table as it was already quite late. They said that it usually closes at 3am, but if the night goes well they can even close at 5-6 am. They turned on the lights and made us leave at 2.15 am :) we didn’t even get to drink half of the bottles.
If you want to go to a dishonest place which tries to manipulate you and says it is a « mistake » when trying to do so, then this is the...
