O'braisé Cannes - poulet — Restaurant in Grasse

We we're searching for a cheaper food place, then the tourist trap on the seaside. I checked on Google, and this place has a 4.5 star average, with thousands of reviews. Wife ordered chips and barbecue wings, daughter a big cheeseburger. Her burger was huge and ok. The chicken ends arrived reasonably quick, but when we hit into it... THEY WERE ACTUALLY FROZEN IN THE INSIDE AND PINK!! Meaning they used frozen raw chicken bits and didn't even come them properly. I got back to the till, and with my limited French, I asked the waitress to touch the inside of my wings. They apologise and give us a new batch after 10 min. Cooked this time. However, it was a very poor outcome, and I can not in good faith suggest anyone to come here. The place was full of French teenagers. Maybe they are less susceptible to salmonella than we are?? It’s been so long since the reviews/expectations of a restaurant on Google, failed to even closely resemble my experience. This place was such a disappointment. Yes I understand it’s fast food but a 4.7 rating on over 3000 reviews should count for something more.

First the service is horrible. Rude and indifferent staff. It took 30 minutes to receive my order. The restaurant wasn’t busy but still took 30 minutes - ridiculous and way too slow for a restaurant like this.

The chicken itself was mediocre and borderline dry and rice was super oily. If it wasn’t for the barbecue sauce they slathered over the chicken it would have been next to inedible.

Don’t be tempted by the good reviews find...

Fantastic tasting food. Great variety and lovely staff. Just a little bit pricey compared to other fast foods but worth the money given the taste and serving size. We spent 48 € on 3 meal combo and one burger on its own. The beef was succulent and chicken was tender and tasty. Absolutely awesome as we were famished. Seating area clean, tidy and plenty for a Monday late afternoon as not too busy. Can seat 40 plus people if all seats occupied. Good central location. Halal food confirmed by the nice gentleman who served us. Oh ! And the toilet was very clean 😁...
