Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Le Raincy

It’s been a long time when I rated with 1 star but this place is definitely „worth it”. How differently can you rate super cold Angus Guacamole burger received and no proper reaction of restaurant’s stuff on this incident? I see in the reviews it’s not the first time they have issues with the temperature of the dishes.

The situation took place 02.10.2025 at 6:27pm, order number 33, number on the table 24. I waited 15 minutes for the order (acceptable but slightly long as there wasn’t too many people). When I started eating burger I realized after few bites that there’s something wrong. The bun was simply cold, not even room temperature but going lower. I touch the meat inside burger and it was cold too. I immediately approached lady at the desk. She didn’t understand me when I was saying: „It’s cold”. Well, of course, no reason to hire English-speaking stuff at international airport, what for? So I tried to tell in French. What they did after is unbelievable.. instead of making me a new, hot burger or refund money, which for example is a standard in other famous fast food chains, they HEATED IT UP in I guess microwave.. At the same time guys working in the kitchen were laughing at this situation and seemed they had fun that their customer got cold burger. Inappropriate behaviour of Carl’s personel and cold dishes served deserve nothing but 1 star. Clearly they don’t have such high quality standards like in other fast foods with burgers but at least stuff could have been more customer friendly and attentive. Missing positions from the menu (at 6:30pm there is no coca cola zero available as well as some sauces are gone like garlic or BBQ) are nothing compared to cold burgers served in the „restaurant”. But I’m not surprised, it seems stuff has a lot of time to laugh, speak and couple of burgers are waiting for few minutes on the tray waiting to be served..

We visited one of your restaurants for the first time while on holiday in France. In the UK this restaurant is unheard of, so we asked one of your staff, who messed us around a lot with misinformation, to help us order. She told us we need to order a burger with coke to get a scratch card and so we did, later to tell us it needed to be off a different menu after buying. Secondly, the burger was cold, as we sat down they immediately handed it to us as if its been premade. Furthermore, they told us they have never heard of the milkshake flavour we selected from your machine, so we had to change that too. The biggest reason for this complaint is that we asked if there are any vegetarian options here, as some of us are strict vegetarians, to which they told us there is the chilli cheese fries. After some unassurance from the staff, we decided to look it up to find it had beef in it. If we had not looked it up we would of taken further actions. I would rate here a 0...

Cardboard French Fries, and a terrible Angus hamburger. Pictures are nowhere near the actual sandwich, for size and look. Picture show smaller hands to make them look bigger, and the meat seems twice in thickness and attractive. I suggest to update the pics using actually served food. The meat almost tastes like meet, but it doesn't actually make it. Serving food requires a honest approach that marketing cannot replace. Safety and respect for other people's money. Good food is the best advertisement. Place design is outstanding and personnel...
