L'Institution — Restaurant in Lisieux

I normally would not write a review unless there was terrible service. In this case the service was not bad, but I feel the need to warn people about the food. We didn’t say anything, because we didn’t want to be rude. It’s also not fixable when it is truly just the composition of flavors and sauces making the food taste bad. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, crab avocado, and burrata appetizers and the Galatian prime rib for dinner. Absolutely nothing tasted good. The meat wasn’t horrible, but it was tough in the sections that weren’t 95% rare. Similar to an overcooked chuck roast. This was the worst food we’ve had in a long time… and, we weren’t alone. Two other tables left while we were there - both complaining about the food. One person said it was worse than McDonalds. I have to agree. Please do yourself a favor and walk a half a block further to find far more...

My recent visit to Brasserie - Restauration à Deauville L'Institution left me with a less than satisfactory impression. The food quality was below average, and the prices were unjustifiably high. The steak I ordered was disappointingly chewy and challenging to eat, while the French fries were overcooked and burnt. Honte absolue à cet établissement qui a osé refuser l'accès aux toilettes à une femme enceinte de 9 mois et dont les serveurs ont fini par frapper le mari et le père qui sont venus le leur reprocher ! !!!! Honte à vous !!!!!!!!!!

Alors puisque l'on ne peut répondre a votre commentaire je complète mon avis. Déjà votre 1ère phrase donne le ton de votre état d'esprit. Comment , même au nom des toilettes réservées aux seuls consommateurs, ne peut on être sensibilisé par une femme enceinte de 9 mois sous le soleil et "déroger à sa règle" d'autant qu'elle a même proposer de consommer sur place. Votre version reste néanmoins quelque peu édulcorée et partiale !! Certes le mari révolté a agressé verbalement le serveur qui avait refusé l'accès mais à aucun moment il n'a tenté de penetrer dans l'établissement puisque tous les protagonistes étaient à l'extérieur. C'est le responsable ou prétendu responsable qui a violemment repoussé mon fils le jetant à terre et le frappant à coups de poing alors qu'il était à terre. Mon mari s'interposant à été lui aussi repoussé violemment à terre et blessé à la main et à l'oreille (photos a l'appui) en voulant m'interposer j'ai également été repoussée violemment (griffee au bras) Comment un seul homme arrive à ce point à s'en prendre et à blesser 3 personnes à COUPS DE POINGS et d'une violence inouïe ! ! ! Il a fallu au moins 4 personnes pour le maîtriser ! !!!! Ça n'est plus une simple défense ! !! C'est une violence disproportionnée ! !!!!! Alors sachez cher monsieur que nous avons nous aussi fait notre petite visite au commissariat ! Les temoins, les caméras trancheront...
