We had an amazing lunch at this bouchon restaurant located at the corner of a street in Lyon. We had done a prior reservation on their website through Google and were warmly welcomed by the staff when we reached. Most of the bouchons require a prior reservation for ease of seating. We had ordered 2 mains - Poultry supreme & local cheese sauce & Pike souffle & crawfish sauce and the lady there suggested an amazing white wine which went great with the dishes. Both the dishes were uniquely created specially the Pike souffle was extremely tender and was melting in the mouth. my husband and i decided to order one Menu (appetiser + main dish + dessert) and share it between us because the portion was quite big.

we chose Salad Lyonnaise for appetiser. it was really good, the flavour was balanced, the croutons were so perfectly made.

for the main dish, we chose Pike Soufflé with Crab Sauce. the flavour was new to us. the fish soufflé was very soft. the sauce didn’t taste too strong, but it was quite heavy for me.
