Le Grand Comptoir Mulhouse — Restaurant in Mulhouse

I’m writing this review after witnessing an unfortunate incident at this restaurant on Saturday, December 21st, at 11:55 AM. One of the bartenders (Caucasian-looking) caused quite a scene, shouting loudly and behaving unprofessionally behind the bar. He even insulted his colleague over a minor issue related to beer refills, creating a very uncomfortable and inappropriate atmosphere for customers.

In contrast, the colleague he berated (a North African-looking man with glasses) demonstrated exceptional professionalism. He remained calm, composed, and focused on providing excellent service despite the aggressive behavior of his coworker.

This review and the 5-star rating are solely for that outstanding waiter. His patience, professionalism, and resilience in such a tense situation were truly commendable. Horrible!! My 2nd stop in this cafe and the people running or working here have the WORST behavior (young girl in the morning specially). If you don't like your job, find another one and if you must work in thus job, try to like it because you spoil many many customers mood everyday with your cold and harsh and rude way of talking. Service was excellent, especially for a busy Sunday at lunch. Note: Food is limited on Sunday.

As a suggestion: Please change the settings on the espresso machine. Water is way too hot and burns the coffee. Length of the extraction also makes for a weak espresso shot. Considering the cost of the machine, I would make sure it's brewing at the correct temperature and...
