The plus side: Pitaya Thai, in Mulhouse's old town, is open when most other restaurants are closed. So if you're seeking hot food in a sit-down venue, it's an option to be considered, given the limited options otherwise available.
Also a plus: though ordering is done through digital stands with computerized menus, we found the young woman staffing the cash register very helpful as we tried to figure out how to place our order. She walked over to us, told us how to navigate the digital pages, and then returned and helped us make our credit card payment using the same system.
The downside: seating is crowded and not comfortable, and the food is mediocre. Our orders did not have the vibrant flavors of authentic Thai street food, but were covered in thick, muddy sauces without much flavor and with too much sweetness.
