I arrived in Nice on 14 December, 2024, the first day of my trip. At about 14:00 in the afternoon, I entered from the door on the right. I clearly remember that there were two rows of machines on the left after entering the gate, and I placed the order at the first machine on the far left. I placed the order on the self-service ordering machine and successfully paid with Apple Pay on my phone. At 14:04, the deduction of 16.9 EUR was successful and the machine displayed "payment approved". However, the ordering machine was instantly shut down and the screen kept showing blue. The machine did not spit out a receipt for me, but just stayed at "payment approved", but my bank card had been successfully deducted. At this time, a female employee came over and she also saw the machine shut down and display "payment approved" on the payment machine. I explained the situation to her. I told her that my order was "Menu McSmart" + "Menu Maxi Best Of" + "1 euro Xmas Socks". Then she went to the front desk to check and told me that their system did not receive my order. I now regret not taking more photos and videos about the machine at that time, and I also regret not recording the employee's staff number. Now I can't find anyone to solve it after leaving Nice. I don't even know which employee to complain to if I want to complain.

If you're looking to grab a quick bite and hope to actually get what you ordered, you should definitely go somewhere else. Any street food stand around the corner is better than this chaotic place.
1). Even though there was actually a lot of staff present, they couldn't manage to organize the influx of customers in any way. The place was packed, there were different lines, and no one knew exactly which register to go to.
2). After finally managing to place an order through the monitors and finding a seat, we waited almost half an hour for our food. Excited young employees were running around the place, completely sweaty and clueless, calling out order numbers that you couldn't understand or hear, even with very good French skills.
3). After an excessively long wait, our order arrived, but without drinks and dessert for the kids' Happy Meal. We were assured multiple times that they would be coming right away.
4). After finishing our meal (without drinks) and ready to leave, I decided to go to the counter and ask about the drinks. What happened next was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. No one, absolutely no one, was able to instruct the woman at the drink station to prepare our drinks. The receipt with our drink orders, which I had handed to an employee, suddenly disappeared and was nowhere to be found. I directly approached this employee, who grinned at me and said that he was now on break and no longer responsible.
5). Even the colleagues at the coffee bar—who had absolutely NOTHING to do—said they couldn't make me a coffee. I quote: "I’ll go to jail for that." Of course, no one goes to jail for that, but the remark clearly shows the mentality in this place. As we say in Germany, the fish rots from the head down.
6). After another 20 minutes, the kids were so frustrated that we left without the drinks (which we had paid for)....
Read moreI ordered a chicken burger combo and coffee. The coffee came 3/4 way full. The coke with the combo arrived at my table with no lid and no straw. I asked for a straw because i watched the mcdonald staff filling and moving my cup touching my cup with no gloves (its covid). After asking for a straw I received a lid with no straw, employee said no straw. I asked to speak with manager. ENZO said they dont have straws. I told him i had one the day before with a milkshake. He said okay we have straws but can only give them with milkshake not anything else because thry are trying to save the enviorment. I dont like being lied to by Enzo manager of mcdonalds. I dont feel comfortable with covid drinking from anything but a straw. Since they do not have gloves when handling customers food and beverages, i dont believe a straw is a unreasonable request. Especially since the rest of the world figured out bio degradable straws. In the end I NEVER GOT MY STRAW. THIS IS MCDONALDS WITH NO STRAW. not to mention the attitude. The 20 min wait time and very dirty mcdonalds. Tables are dirty, floors are dirty, bathrooms dirty.....
