Last February, I visited this restaurant with my husband and student to celebrate her birthday. The food and service were excellent, and they even prepared a cake for us upon request, which we really appreciated. This year, when my friend planned a birthday dinner for her boyfriend in Paris, I highly recommended this restaurant based on my previous experience.

I even helped her make a reservation over the phone on Friday, December 27th, for two people at 7:30 PM on December 29th. During the call, everything seemed fine—they informed us that they no longer provide cakes but kindly allowed us to bring our own without any additional charge.

However, when my friend arrived at the restaurant, they claimed there was no reservation. I called to explain the situation, but the staff member I spoke to was extremely rude and even accused me of lying and hang up the phone on me. This was shocking and completely unacceptable.

What a disappointing turn of events! A restaurant of this reputation should know how to handle reservations and treat customers with respect. I will never return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they improve their service. If this continues, they’ll no longer be a top-rated...

First of all, excellent service. A very pleasant experience with a waitress who could explain everything!

If you've been to Japan, avoid the Wagyu from Australia, it will disappoint.

The range of meat ranges from Black Angus from USA, Uruguay and Australia to Argentinian and aged pieces from Spain.

The Black Angus Ruby from Australia is highly recommended, a fantastic, deep, juicy taste, even though the slice is thin! If we go back we'll see if we can get a thicker ribeye cut...

They will give you a choice of BBQ or pan fry but they use olive oil not butter so not as tasty or crispy as it could be but that is healthier... .... ... Probably best to go with waiter's recommendation.

Cheapest bottles of wine start at 60€ but you can buy a glass. Also have to mention the amazing mash potato!!!

Overall very expensive but at €165 for two people to try 6 different steaks from across the world, it's a good opportunity. I would try to order 2 steaks at a time - the others get...

We visited Atelier Carnem with our family for our 25th wedding anniversary and the food was amazing. The restaurant is located down a street that you can not drive down so we were dropped off at the corner and had to walk a short short distance. I love love the location because it gave us the feel of little Italy. Our server was so friendly and he accommodated all 10 of us. The restaurant is very intimate which we loved. I ordered my steak well done and it was tender throughout every bite, yet no pink. Actually the best steak we have ever eaten and the portion size was big. We ordered one Angus American steak and I was able to share my steak with one person. I want to say thank you again to the owner for this amazing experience and we look forward to seeing you...

We shared a platter - Dégustation d'exception - which contained 3 steaks of 200g each. It is served with a three sauces and sides of your choice. We really liked the Angus and the Wahyu, and probably the next time would go for individual portions. We ordered two glasses of wine... And felt that we were shorted on one, since the bottle finished, and they probably didn't want to open another one. Not something one expects from a pricey place like this. The service is friendly, the prices a bit on the higher side, and the ambience is inviting, but kind of disappointing for the prices. The food quality is what makes it stand out...though I'm not sure it rises to the level of the best in Paris.
