Aux Délices du Liban — Restaurant in Paris

I recently visited this Lebanese restaurant in Paris and I must say, I was thoroughly disappointed. The portions were too small and the food was also bland and lacked any distinct flavor or seasoning that I would expect from Lebanese cuisine.

To make matters worse, the owner was extremely rude and dismissive when I brought up my concerns about the food and portion sizes. She didn't seem to care about his customers' experience at all, and her lack of professionalism was appalling. I was shocked at how unwelcoming and unpleasant the atmosphere was, and I couldn't wait to leave.

We didn’t get the warm welcome you’d expect from a Lebanese place. There was no real greeting, and the staff seemed like they couldn’t care less we were there.

The way the food was served also felt off. They just kind of plopped everything down on the table without any care, like they were just throwing it on there to get it over with. We asked for water multiple times and never got it—even though there were no other customers when we first arrived, and it wasn’t until later that it started getting crowded.

At the end, the waiter just came over and asked us to pay right away, as if they were just eager to get rid of us. Honestly, the whole experience didn’t feel anything like the usual Lebanese hospitality I was expecting, and I definitely won’t be...

As a Lebanese, unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The portions were extremely small compared to other restaurants I've been to in Paris and the food was not fresh. To make matters worse, the owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It's disappointing to have to deal with such poor customer service when dining out. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience. They may have a high rating, BUT it does not reflect the experience behind it. Most of the reviews are written by non-lebanese people who do not really know the Lebanese culture and how we are usually generous and welcoming people. BAD BAD BAD...
