Quartier Latin — Restaurant in Paris

What an amazing experience! My wife and I were starving and sitting in our hotel room looking up near by restaurants and decided to try Latin Quartier. Best decision ever! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a smile by owner Antonio. He gave us quick rundown of the menu and took our drink order. I had a Sangiovese Merlot and my wife had a Coke Zero. We ordered the Día Vola and the Bolognese, both very exquisite! From then on he checked in on us regularly and made small talk with my wife and I. His staff also came by regularly to check in on us and all were very attentive and friendly. Walked in and we were greeted by the owner, who we came to know as Antonio. Seated and hungry, we perused the menu. I got my phone out to answer a few questions before our order was taken. The owner noticed my struggles, and assisted me in ordering by explaining a few of the pasta dishes to me. We settled on the Ravioli dish, which was delicious. My friend got a fabulous margherita pizza...the crust was so amazing! Our wine was served at the right temperature. The whole experience was wonderful. As we were leaving, we made it a point to thank Antonio for such a positive experience. He offered us, and we accepted, a shot of yummy limoncello. Oh. My. Goodness. I haven't stop talking about our meal at Latin Quartier that I had on Saturday! We had reserved a table and despite being slightly late, we were welcomed so warmly by the staff who seated our party of 7 on a Hen Do from the UK with so much kindness. The ambience was wonderful and a prime people watching spot in the heart of the Paris Latin Quarter. The food was incredible - I didn't eat such fantastic pizza even in Rome or Venice! The waiters were so patient whilst we placed our orders and taking separate payments for each of us. And we were even treated on the house to Limoncello shots to finish!
