I cannot recommend the Roman pizzeria located downstairs from me enough! The pizzas are absolutely incredible - each slice is a mouthwatering delight that is just as good as what you would find in Rome. The crust is super thin, perfectly crispy, and has a wonderful flavor that pairs perfectly with the delicious toppings. Every time I take a bite, I am transported to the streets of Italy, and I feel so lucky to have such an amazing pizzeria right on my doorstep.
My personal favorite is the MMMortadella pizza, which is absolutely to die for! The combination of the mortadella and the other toppings creates an explosion of flavors in my mouth that I just can't get enough of. But honestly, every pizza on the menu is amazing, and I love trying new ones every time I go.
But it's not just the pizza that makes this spot so special. The ambiance of the pizzeria is warm and inviting, and the friendly servers always make me feel right at home. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations based on your tastes.
While the pizzas could be slightly smaller and more affordable, I don't mind paying a little extra for such high-quality ingredients and a fantastic overall experience. If you're in the area and craving amazing pizza, look no further than this pizzeria. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreRESPONSE!! It’s quite remarkable that you felt the need to respond. Yes, we were a little late — something that can happen to anyone — but that is not the point of this review. The real issue is the way we were treated.
We first asked politely when the first two of us arrived, while waiting outside for the person who had made the reservation — who, understandably, was running late due to a delay. When we returned to request seating again, we were treated poorly twice, by the same staff member, gesturing and wagging her finger at us as if we were schoolchildren, despite plenty of empty tables around.
If the place had been fully booked, perhaps such rigidity could be understood. But enforcing rules in this way, when tables were clearly available, comes across as unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly a bit childish. Being late is human; being treated in such a manner, repeatedly, is the problem here.
1st message We had a reservation at Ave Pizza Romana in Paris and arrived about 10 minutes late. We’re usually very punctual, but the hostess refused to seat us, saying too much time had passed. What was really disappointing was her attitude — she turned away abruptly and gestured at us quite rudely, basically showing us the door. We didn’t even get to sit down. Very unpleasant and...

It’s located on a quiet street 1 street over from a main avenue/boulevard from Canal St. Martin. Easy to find with a map app. The place was packed with patrons. Fast and courteous service. Young lady that took my order understood a bit of English. Two Margherita pizzas only took 10 minutes. They were volcanic hot in their boxes. You could taste the thin chewy dough in the center of the pie. It was also crispier towards the edges. The cheese was so tasty and the sauce was homemade. Incredibly delicious. I wanted more even though I was full. Since it was take away (take out), don’t let it sit out too long. It will get cold fast since it’s so thin. Sorry I forgot the photos. Come...
