My visit to this pizzeria was incredibly disappointing, primarily due to the abysmal customer service. Despite having a reservation for 1:00 PM, the service was shockingly slow and disorganized. While we quickly placed our orders upon arrival, the wait for our food was excruciatingly long and frustrating.
Interestingly, out of our group of five, only one person opted for pasta, and they received their dish promptly after a 30-minute wait. However, the rest of us, who ordered pizzas, endured an intolerable 1-hour wait. It was incredibly frustrating to see others who arrived after us receiving their orders before ours.
The staff seemed indifferent and unapologetic about the delays. There was a distinct lack of communication and transparency regarding the status of our orders. When our pizzas finally arrived at 2:00 PM, they were not only late but also incorrect, which added further disappointment.
Moreover, the attitude of the staff was unprofessional. When we raised our concerns, we were met with dismissiveness rather than an attempt to rectify the situation. It took considerable effort to negotiate for a gesture of goodwill, which was a mere token in light of the overall poor experience.
In addition to the service issues, I was dismayed by the disregard for cleanliness and environmental responsibility, as evidenced by staff casually littering aluminum caps on the street.
In conclusion, this pizzeria failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service. The prolonged wait times, lack of communication, and indifferent attitude of the staff left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly advise against dining here if you value efficient service and a respectful...
Read moreNestled in a cozy corner near Trocadero Square, a couple of friends recommended them, and they were not wrong. A family owned restaurant is going back decades with most of the servers having served more than 10 years, with more enthusiasm than many other places we have visited, globally. Besides the food, that's a feather on their cap as it enhanced our experience few notches.
We had the lasagna, the four cheese pasta, the bolognese pasta, and the oso boku before starting with the vegetarian and the classic margarita pizza among us. The food was met with our expectations, and we are happy to recommend you there too.
The Lasgna was cooked to perfection with right amount of cheese and sauce but would have preferred a slice or two of garlic bread with it. The osso boku meat was tender, and well cooked. The four cheese pasta was...as it should be, very cheesy, but that's what you expect, right!
The pizzas were nice and fluffy, light crusted and enjoyable.
Overall a great experience for all of us and hope you'll like...
Read moreWith our limited French, we ordered a delicious Italian meal at this gem. As vegetarians, we were delighted to find at least one vegetarian option: Penne alla Arrabiata. It had a bit of a kick but nothing unbearable. The pasta was perfectly al denté and rich in flavor.
The Creeme Brulee didn't disappoint and neither did the tiramisu. It was priced reasonably for Parisian standards.
On top of it all, the staff were friendly and accommodating with us given our limited French.
We didn't take pictures of the food because we didn't want to be those annoying Americans that photograph everything.
All the people eating there, most seemed like they were locals, were living the moment, not on...
