I had mixed feelings during and after the show. I probably had too high expectations in terms of a “wow-effect” my husband and I were anticipating and we didn’t get that wow-impression from the show.
I mean the girls are stunning and I was excited to look at them for probably the first 5-10 minutes but then it becomes boring and feels quite repetitive.
Some acts were more interesting and creative than others, but some were completely boring, especially with obvious lip-synching and could be somehow levelled up. If I was a creative director of the show I’d definitely look for ways to may it more impressive and interesting to watch.
I really enjoyed the invited male artists with juggling striptease— they were able to keep audience’s attention, even male audience, and honestly, this was the act I liked most from the whole show!
We had tickets without champagne because we quit drinking alcohol a few months, I guess with sitting and drinking champagne watching the show would be more entertaining. I was glad they had a non-alcoholic cocktail on the menu which I ordered and actually liked a lot! It tasted like an alcoholic cocktail but without alcohol- keep it up!
So I left with a mixed feeling of the show wasn’t worth the money in terms of impressiveness and I felt that I would have lost nothing if I hadn’t watched the show at all. But literally the next day I noticed my thoughts go back to the show and I have only good memories left and don’t regret visiting at all. I won’t likely visit again but I can definitely recommend others to visit at least once as a part of essential Parisian experience!
I also liked that the venue is quite small and intimate unlike Moulin Rouge, Lido or Paradis Latin where people sit at the tables and eat and the halls are much larger. Haven’t been to any of those though— just read reviews and choose to go to Crazy Horse. All in all, I didn’t...
Read moreI'm finding it difficult to find words to describe the incredible show I saw at Crazy Horse. I'll try:
The welcome was efficient. We had show, champagne and dinner tickets. We were escorted to our red velvet seats in the 2nd row. Our champagne was already iced in a bucket there for us. A waiter opened it and poured the 1st glasses for us.
Next a male singer began around half an hour before show time. At first I thought, "oh boy, a lounge singer guy...". However, half a song into his routine I loved him! He was funny, animated and got the crowd fired up.
The show: my heart pounds a little more right now trying to think how to describe this. Nine of the most beautiful women I've ever seen were topless (no pasties) on stage immediately snapping into a perfectly choreographed act.
Their bodies were exquisite, they all matched in size and in appearance. Sexy, elegant, and TALENTED. This is NOT a strip show. It is classically trained dancers performing with absolute precision in combination with a light show which can hardly be described. Although naked, the lights in one act dressed the girl and undressed her while she moved to different positions on stage standing EXACTLY where the light would catch her. Perfection.
A tap dancing duo of identical looking men was also quite entertaining, resulting in a HUGE round of applause. This was a fun break near the middle to allow the girls to regroup, I assume. They were working hard.
Don't miss this. It is truly something you cannot duplicate anywhere else. Wow.
(We were lucky enough to be there only days after Venus Océane made her 20 year anniversary. I'd have sworn each of these women were in...
Read moreI recently revisited the Crazy Horse show in Paris after several years, and it felt like rediscovering something truly special. I wasn’t sure if it would still have the same charm I remembered, but it absolutely did. The show has evolved, yet it kept that unique combination of artistry, creativity, and elegance that makes it so iconic.
This time around, I was especially impressed by how fresh the choreography felt. The dancers are incredibly skilled, and they’ve added new elements that make the performances even more engaging. The way they play with lighting and shadows is absolutely mesmerizing—each act feels like a living piece of art. The attention to detail is incredible, and every performance has its own distinctive energy.
Even though it had been years since my last visit, the overall atmosphere of the show remains as sophisticated and captivating as ever. It’s less about spectacle and more about the artistry behind each performance, with an emphasis on movement, light, and music creating a truly immersive experience.
The venue is still just as intimate, which is one of the things I love about it. You feel completely drawn into the performances, and it’s an experience that stays with you long after it’s over. For anyone thinking of revisiting, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how they manage to keep things fresh while staying true to the Crazy Horse’s signature style.
After all these years, I can confidently say the Crazy Horse is still a must-see. Whether it’s your first visit or you’re coming back, it’s an unforgettable experience that always offers something new and exciting. Totally...
