Now classified as one of the historical monuments in Paris, the Passerelle Debilly is a cycle and foot bridge over the River Seine that was constructed in 1900 for the World Fair and became a permanent bridge after it was relocated slightly to its current position. When plans were being put in place for the 1900 World Fair in Paris, it was decided that a temporary bridge needed to be erected in order to accommodate people wishing to go from one part of the exhibition on the left bank of the River Seine over to other exhibits on the right bank. So it was decided that a metal pedestrian bridge would be erected and demolished a few years later, just like the Eiffel Tower was supposed to have been demolished after 20 years from its inauguration at the 1889 World Fair. It was then designed by the engineers Lion, Amedee Alby and Jean Resal, who was also instrumental in the design of the impressive Alexandre III bridge in Paris, and the construction of the bridge was first approved in the October of 1898. The bridge was completed in the April of 1900 and had been referred to by different names such as the Magdeberg or the de Billy footbridge, and when the City of Paris took over the management of the structure, they had the position of it moved in 1906 to its...

Oh Man, the only word I could say is awesome. The bridge at night is super heart warming. I cant explain how good it felt to feel the water in dim lights. The warm lights over the bridge were dreamy. Apart from that you can find few people selling Crepes, Souvenirs, Keychains and power banks at cheap prices. Moreover, you can find alot of photographers at the bridge, some are paid and some do for the love of photos and smiles. I was one of the photographers to spread love and do it at a cost of a smile. Over all, do visit this place. The most interesting part was the locks of love with names and dates all over the bridge. So if you are visiting with a loved one dont forget to buy the lock and place it on the bridge as a memory.

【Here it is! Here it is! The ultimate guide to the best Eiffel Tower photo spots in Paris 🗼! This one post has got you covered】 🇫🇷 I wouldn't dare to title this post so boldly if it weren't true. Before my trip, I scoured the internet for all the Eiffel Tower photo posts and compiled the top nine most popular and best spots, which I then visited and photographed myself. This post summarizes all of them~ 1️⃣. Palais de Chaillot Terrace. This place gets crowded after morning, so it's best to start here early. By 8 AM, it's still relatively empty. From here, you can circle around and hit all nine spots. The prime spot is on the right side of the terrace stairs. Although the left side has the same view, the framing isn't as good. 2️⃣. Palais de Chaillot Stairs. Just below the first spot~ 3️⃣. Palais de Chaillot Fountain. After descending from the second spot, you'll reach this fountain square. Not sure if it's still in use, but it's just filled with some stagnant water now. You can do some jumping or dynamic poses here, just try not to overlap with the tower in the background. Using the water to capture reflections can also be nice~ 4️⃣. Right Bank of the Seine. Cross the street from the fountain, and on the right side of the Pont d'Iéna, there's a staircase leading down to the riverside. This is a popular spot for many Instagram influencers. It's usually pretty empty, so you can pose freely~ 5️⃣. Hidden Gem Neighborhood. Use Google Maps to navigate to Avenue de Camoens. Apple Maps shows it as over 10 km away, but it's actually just a few minutes' walk from the previous spots. There are hardly any tourists here, mostly just foreign bloggers and the like. On the day I visited, there were two film crews shooting what seemed like music videos~ 6️⃣. Pont de Bir-Hakeim. This is the bridge featured in Inception. It's just a few minutes away from spot 5. There are usually fewer tourists here, and more people taking wedding photos. You can frame the shot horizontally to include the bridge and the tower, or vertically to emphasize the bridge's depth~ 7️⃣. Le Recrutement Café. You can navigate here from the bridge, about a 30-minute walk. From across the street, use a telephoto lens to capture the entire tower and the street scene, pretending to cross the road~ 8️⃣. Instagram-famous Alley. Navigate to 228 Rue de l'Université. It's about a 10-minute walk from spot 7. Many people take full-tower shots here from a low angle, but I prefer a level view. Since there are already many full-tower shots, some partial framing can add more variety~ 9️⃣. Seine Riverbank. By spot 8, you're back near the tower's base. Cross back to the other side of the river and shoot from the riverbank. Any spot along the bank will do, but the one near the Passerelle Debilly bridge is particularly nice. The bridge itself is also great for photos, with fewer people than the Pont d'Iéna~ There's also a carousel nearby, but I found the composition a bit cluttered. If you're interested, you can give it a try. It's right next to the fountain~ Oh, I'm running out of characters, so I'll continue in the next post~ Stay tuned! @Uncle Red @Lifestyle Stuff @City Light Travel #ParisStreetPhotography
