I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the front of house staff displayed a lack of professionalism and courtesy. We requested a table with an Eiffel Tower view when making the booking, however upon arrival, we were shown to our table which didn’t have one. When questioned, they said ‘Just sit down and order your food’.

The food was equally disappointing. It arrived cold and lacked any distinct flavour, making it clear that little care had been put into its preparation. In fact, the outside of the bowls were warm but the inside was freezing, showing it had clearly been reheated. It certainly did not live up to the expectations set by the menu or the reviews seen on TikTok.

Despite this, we informed the staff of our poor experience so far and one of the waitresses decided to start shouting at us, telling us we don’t know what the pasta is meant to taste like and hard pasta is normal? We requested the manager, Linda, and thank god we did. She was the only one that really knew how to communicate, show effective costumer service, and she seemed genuinely concerned and made a sincere effort to rectify the situation. Her professionalism and dedication were commendable, even though the overall experience fell short.

To make matters worse, after we finished eating we noticed mice running around the tables. This was not only unsettling but completely unacceptable for any dining establishment. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they dismissed it as if it were a common occurrence, which was shocking and said ‘this is Paris this is normal’ and also blamed the reason for having mice on building work. However, after reading reviews it can clearly be seen that the issues with mice have been going on for MONTHS and NOTHING is being done to improve their hygiene conditions. Video of mouse attached. Finally, as we were leaving we spotted mice droppings BEHIND THE SOFA!! When we questioned this to a staff member she replied ‘ At least it’s not in the kitchen’. But really can we believe them?

Given these circumstances, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please don’t listen to the tiktok trends and DO RESEARCH...

Heard about this restaurant with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower…comparable to the famous Girafe that’s impossible to get a reservation. Was able to get a reservation for my moms birthday and was stoked! Got there a bit early, told the hostess we had a reservation and she told us they were closed at the moment. Thought ok, fine, we are early. We stood outside RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER and saw that she was letting some people in and telling some people to go around. Then I asked her to check my reservation because I was confused why some people were being let in and some being told somewhere else, but we were still waiting right in front of her after she denied us. Then she checked and told us our reservation was for the other side, no views. I asked if she could accommodate us there since it was my moms birthday and I really wanted her to have the view. Then she told me I’d have to cancel my reservation and she wasn’t sure she could get me in. Weird since she had been letting people in. So we end up going around. The other hostess told us we could eat there and then go back to the other side for drinks, just to make sure we get there before 9:30 (and that that side was only walk ins and for drinks and snacks only). I thought fine, we can eat quickly and make it before 9:30. We ate fast, rushed out and ran to the other side….only for the lady to tell me they were closed and can’t accommodate us. WHAT!? I explained that the other side told me I could come back as long as it was before 9:30 and then suddenly she tells me they are understaffed. I wish she would have just let us in or told us all of this when we originally got there….instead of letting us stand there in front of her like idiots after she denied us but let other folks in shortly after. For what I spent I could have gone somewhere nicer for my moms birthday. Extremely disappointed.

Will say though, the waiter that ended up attending us (on the side with no view), was very nice and attentive. And he sang happy birthday to my mom. So that was...

VERY rude customer service; incredibly unprofessional from both the waitress and manager who had seen us about an inconvenience with the food - one dish being completely inedible (still had to pay for it). When initially speaking to the waitress, there were no apologies - just pure attitude. The conversation ended with her storming off, without a word, to get the manager who too was very arrogant and rude. please note there was also no language barrier or miscommunication

Furthermore, not only had I asked for 3 different starters which were all unavailable; when choosing one, I got served a different dish to what I had ordered - again no apology and the waitress stormed off with the wrong dish, without a word. 10 minutes later (after eating the rest of my food) I got told the dish I had ordered was also unavailable - no apology. Was also very confused as to how it took her 10 minutes to tell me that the dish was unavailable. The food (other than pizza) was completely bland and tasteless.

We had come to celebrate my friends birthday - which I had noted on the reservation, however there was not a single happy birthday.

The only nice aspect of the restaurant is the aesthetic of the interior and the view (which is only partially available from about 3 tables). Once we had stepped out of the restaurant, 2 strangers had asked us to take a picture of them in front of the restaurant (to get the view), whilst doing so, the staff had a gathering on the side stairs joking and laughing at us all - certainly trying to intimidate us. It was absolutely disgusting, baring in mind their selling point is definitely some what the view.

I’m not one to post negative feedback but I was astonished at how rude the employees were and the entire experience. Certainly not what I had expected and it had ruined my friends surprise birthday meal - which I felt very bad about. The only nice employee was the hostess...
