If I could leave this place zero stars I would...the service was extremely poor, the food dry and tasteless and jeez it's expensive. 115euros for two people, two courses.
What was worse is that when they cleared the tables the waiter used somebody elses used serviette to wipe the table down. No anti-bac spray, no wet clothe. Just a serviette that another customer had used to wipe their mouth and nose with. Gross.
We waited 35minutes for our drinks to arrive a further hour for the food and then another 20minutes for a mint tea and a coke. We asked for the bill and that arrived straight away.
Now I'm not saying that certain customers around us were getting preferential treatment but let's put it this way. We don't look middle Eastern. People that do got their food and drinks so much quicker. I'll give you an example; We arrived, ordered our drinks. Ten minutes later a middle Eastern couple arrived on the next table. In the 35minutes we waited for our drinks the couple on the other table had their drinks and the complete main course. They had finished before our main course even turned up.
The waiter was absolutely nuts...he looked like he was about to have a heart attack. Kept muttering to himself.
Anyways I eat in Lebanese restaurants all over the world and this, by a long way, was the worst.
To finalise; take a look at the responses on the reviews from the staff. The arrogance is amazing. Get used to it though as that's the type of service the...
Read morePlease like and follow. What an amazing restaurant. The layout is not sofisticated but has a lebanese flare. Their patio is so cute . The food is what makes this place a famous restaurant. The meme plate has falafel, Harrah, sambouswk, fatayer, taboule, and hummus. Everything tastes amazing. The lentils soup was also delicious. The sayadiyeh, the grilled lamb, the grilled kafta and shish tawook, all we amazing and delicious.all grilled meats were spiced to perfection and tender. The same goes for the baba ghanouj, fool (fava bean), and vegetable plates. All were fresh and delicious. Finally, the sweets from znoud el sit, Ramadan begnais, and halawet el jibin were sweet and beyond tasty. Let's not forget the lemonade, mint tea, and white coffee are also brewed perfectly. Overall, this place is specialized, which is great food and drinks and very affordable. We were so excited about the smell, the presentation, and the taste that we forgot to take pictures. Highly recommend...
Read moreVERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE LEBANESE MANAGER OF MAISON NOURA : Is this how you treat your loyal customers??? We had booked tonight for 10:30 pm. We arrived a little early and he told us to come back at the time of the reservation, which we did. Once returned, the manager indicates to us in a disrespectful and very arrogant way that there were no places available. So we respected his word but no respect and no hospitality in return. Why take reservations and make us move in the rain if it is to leave us outside? It's very dishonest from his part and he didn't even apologize. But as soon as we showed him a picture taken during a previous evening with him he immediately changed his tone and behavior towards us. We're extremely disappointed and shocked. Personally, it was one of my favorite restaurants but after what happened to us tonight I'm boycotting it. I'm disgusted...
