We arrived early in the morning, the cafe was already full, but we managed to get a table and didn't have to wait. The location of the cafe is great, the atmosphere is cozy. There's a pleasant buzz inside. I knew that the selection was smaller than in other Kozy. It took a few minutes to choose, then we got a waiter and he brought our choice quite quickly. The avocado toast with egg was large and delicious, the egg was fully cooked and cold. My daughter was satisfied with her choice. She ate pancakes with seasonal fruits, my husband had no comments and mentioned that the Benedict with salmon was excellent. My older daughter chose pancakes with chocolate from the Easter menu. The chocolate was dark and a bit too bitter. Here we tasted the first Pain aux cholotate in France. Delicious, the chocolate is also dark. The cappuccino big cup was flavored with chocolate, my daughter rated the iced matcha 8 out of 10 ;) , and the other very berry tornado gave it 10. Overall, we were satisfied with our first breakfast in Paris. It wasn't wow, but we had a snack and recharged our batteries before traveling to the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. P.S. If you go to the toilet, all the perfectly coordinated work in the kitchen will be at your fingertips. There was a bunch of people waiting for the tables outside...
Read moreI really like the Kozy chain especially for a brunch. However, they don't take reservations and this outlet was much smaller than the montmartre one. We had to wait for about 30 minutes to get a table for 6 at midi. The food was nice as usual with prices matching those of other brunch places. The menu isn't really big and seemed more limited than at the Montmartre branch but each header had at least one vegetarian optionm The service this time was a little disappointing, after a long waiting time, a couple of things in our order weren't correct but most of the staff was really sweet and welcoming. They give you an option of scanning the QR code on the table and paying either the entire bill or splitting it from your mobile itself. While convenient, the platform charges a ~1€ fee per transaction and seems to have had some security issues at least a few months ago (there was a fraudulent transaction attempt that my bank flagged that upon discussion told me likely arose from the payment gateway at Kozy Montmartre). I recommend requesting to pay at the counter or by the card machines they have instead. Overall, its a great brunch place and is recommended! but after being to Kozy a few times, I'd also like to discover other brunch places...
Read moreThe food was absolutely fantastic. We had the salmon benny and the pistachio pancakes—both were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent; the staff were attentive, sharp, and genuinely welcoming.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by something we witnessed outside. A staff member, who appeared to be from the kitchen, was sitting on an empty table wearing Crocs and rubbing his bare feet with his hands for several minutes. When confronted by a server, he simply got up and moved to the next empty table—and continued this behavior nonchalantly, as if nothing was wrong. It was genuinely disturbing to watch. My partner said it nearly ruined her appetite, though I tried to reassure her he was outside and likely not handling food at the time.
We chose not to make a scene out of respect for the excellent front-of-house staff, but the incident definitely left a negative impression and took away from what was otherwise a fantastic meal.
This occurred earlier today between 1–2 PM, in case you wish to review footage. It was truly unacceptable. Thankfully, the food and service were top-tier—otherwise, it would’ve been a one-star experience. I’d be happy to remove this review once the matter has been...
