Les RDV Italiens — Restaurant in Paris

Phenomenal quality, excellent prices, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I visited here for dinner with a friend, each ordering a glass of wine and a piadina. For those who (like me) have never heard of piadina, think of a thin flatbread used as a platform for a really hearty and delicious pizza. I ordered the Landy 2.0 and felt like I finally understood why so many people are obsessed with truffles, which our host combined with tomatoes, German bacon, greens, and other ingredients to deliver a rich, delicious, and filling meal. The chef was a wonder, managing to cook some truly incredible food while simultaneously servicing eight tables by herself. Not only that, but she did this without making anyone feel hurried or neglected; the whole experience was intimate and relaxed. As we prepared to finish our meal and the restaurant began to close, a sudden rainstorm hit. Mein Freund und ich waren heute hier zu Besuch. Schon der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Chefin persönlich - eine wirklich herzliche und liebevolle Frau, hat sich Zeit für uns genommen und uns die Karte (auf französisch) in englisch erklärt.

Wir haben das Menü genommen. Flott waren Getränke und Essen serviert in wirklich guter Qualität. Die scharfe, selbstgemachte Sauce konnte als Topping selbst auf die Pizza gemacht werden. Achtung: Feurig!

Nach dem Mittag waren wir mit die letzten Gäste, worauf hin sich ein tolles Gespräch mit der Chefin und ihrer Assistentin entwickelt hat. Wir haben noch über eine Stunde Zeit miteinander verbracht. Wir waren begeistert von der Gastfreundlichkeit, Offenheit und den zwei ehrlichen und fröhlichen Sehlen.

Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Paris werden wir definitiv zurückkehren und hoffen die beiden Frauen erneut treffen zu können.

Mon ami et moi avons visité ici aujourd'hui. L'accueil a été très chaleureux. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis les bienvenus. La patronne elle-même, une femme vraiment chaleureuse et aimante, a pris du temps pour nous et nous a expliqué le menu (en français) en anglais.

Nous avons pris le menu. Les boissons et la nourriture étaient servies rapidement et étaient de très bonne qualité. La sauce épicée faite maison pourrait être mise sur la pizza comme garniture. Attention : fougueux !

Après le déjeuner, nous étions parmi les derniers invités, ce qui a donné lieu à une excellente conversation avec la patronne et son assistante. Nous avons quand même passé plus d'une heure ensemble. Nous avons été enchantés par l'hospitalité, l'ouverture d'esprit et les deux personnes honnêtes et joyeuses.

Nous reviendrons certainement lors de notre prochain passage à Paris et espérons pouvoir revoir les deux femmes.

We dined here tonight. I had the Ronnie Piadine which was a generous serve. So delicious I ate it all! I also enjoyed 2 aperol spritz which were more aperol than spritz - winner! My dining companion also had tiramisu for dessert (I had the 2nd aperol) and that was up to standard having enjoyed a teaspoon myself. Chef Isabelle was very entertaining, she had been to Australia so we had some excellent discussions on travel. The restaurant is well appointed with outside seating as well as roomy settings inside.
