My wife and I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful brunch experience at Papilles, and I must say that every moment was a true delight. From the moment we stepped into the charming restaurant on 77 Rue Marguerite de Rochechouart, we knew we were in for a treat.
The ambiance at Papilles was the perfect blend of cozy and elegant, creating an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The attentive staff welcomed us with warm smiles, making us feel like valued guests from the very start. Their genuine friendliness and attentive service enhanced our overall dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the brunch itself—it was an absolute feast for the senses! The carefully curated menu offered an impressive array of options, from savory to sweet, ensuring there was something for every palate. The dishes were beautifully presented, showcasing not only the culinary artistry but also the dedication to quality and flavor.
What truly stood out was the attention to detail in the ingredients used. Each bite was a burst of freshness, and the use of seasonal produce added an extra layer of delight to our meal. The flavors were thoughtfully balanced, and every dish was a testament to the chef's expertise and creativity.
To complement our brunch, the beverage options were equally impressive. From the perfectly brewed coffee to the refreshing fruit juices, the drink selection added to the overall experience, making it a well-rounded and satisfying meal.
The highlight of our brunch experience was the opportunity to share this wonderful moment with each other. The cozy setting and delectable food made it an ideal spot for couples to enjoy quality time together. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a tranquil brunch escape, Papilles offers an idyllic setting that leaves you with beautiful memories.
Our brunch at Papilles was a five-star experience in every sense. The combination of exceptional cuisine, warm ambiance, and attentive service made it a perfect choice for couples looking to savor a relaxing and delicious meal together. We're already looking forward to our next visit to create more cherished moments at this...
Read morePoor customer service, initially we booked a table there for two days based on Google reviews, but when we came on the first day both waitress who worked on the 24/08 gave us an impression that we made them so unhappy with us coming and bothering them for breakfast that we left without ordering and cancelled further booking. We didn’t feel welcomed by how they met us, then the waitress was in a rush after us not being able to respond straight away which table we would prefer; after she left and we took a seat at one of the tables for 2 - she came back and this followed by a long explanation that this table for two we chosen in an empty room (only 2 more tables were taken) may need to be given to somebody else it is becomes too busy later (although we didn’t plan to live at that place and were just hoping for a quick breakfast) - based on the waitress’s monologue the table could actually could be converted into table for three, although the table clearly looked like all the rest of the small tables for 2 in the same line, following that they were not willing to give a print menu redirecting to the app although I came to the waitress and asked for it, then they did not want to accept the coffee order prior to us choosing breakfast - while for us it would have taken some time prior going through the menu in a new place and I just wanted a coffee before that. Anyways, we went to another place nearby and enjoyed the best pancakes I have ever tried.
UPD: the photo of the coffee place was made one hour after we left and were passing by, at around 10:45 AM. As you can see, it was still not...
Read moreUnfortunate where we came here (three of us) to try it out, the experience was short and horrible. There were 5 or so tables free, one big 6 person one outside under the construction as well. When we walked in a couple who walked in with us waited by the bar. So we waited with them, and after a few minutes we asked the couple if they're waiting for a table. They said no, and that they're ordering to go. So maybe it was presumptuous of us.. there was no sign, nothing indicating there was a place to wait to be seated, nor was there any indication the place was full, nor did the staff acknowledge us waiting by the door. After waiting for a few more minutes, we went to take a seat at one of the available tables inside. The bar staff literally yelled at us from across the restaurant to say they're full. Idk we were so ashamed, the idea of even staying to find out how and why we could get a table didn't even cross our mind. Just shocking with a place so well reviewed to see the service be so bad. The staff literally ignored us at the entrance until we tried to sit, so clearly something is going on with communication. I'd suggest if you wanted to come here to make a reservation, although apparently it doesnt even matter..: because according to their site they had space (which they clearly did) when we arrived on the 13th at 12:30 (see screenshots) so the whole thing just feels wrong. It's sad because we sought this place out for my dietary restrictions, we literally took a 40 min tram to go...
