This is a small place. I counted 7 tables. It's also a limited menu. There were three starters (entrées), 4 main plates, and three desserts. Don't let the size or limited menu dissuade you. Also, I get the impression that the menu changes daily.
The proprietor is delightful. She was playing with her children in the back of the cafe when we walked in (it was a school holiday). Our party had the tuna salad and the flank steak and fries. The flank steak was tender and served a perfect medium rare. The tuna was more of a pastry with a chopped tuna filling, a perfect lunch portion.
For dessert there was a perfectly poached pear, a delicious flowerless chocolate tort, and crepes with butter and chantilly creme. Wonderful.

The menu changes daily, and we had the roast chicken with mashed potatoes, steak tatare with fries, and a sausage with mash.
There could be no fault to be found with any of them - the chicken is perfectly done, succulent and juicy, falling off the bone.
The tatare is unquestionably fresh, with a light spice, and zest from olives, pairing perfectly with the fries.
