La Routine Café — Restaurant in Paris

Edit since I saw the reply from the store: no recognition of their behaviour, appalling. Obviously the person who replied doesn't know me or they would know I'm a polite (but honest) person. None of the behaviour I'm accused of towards other customers happened. Shame!

I'm surprised that this place is well-rated. After doing some digging, I understand how it works to get a good rating: fake, paid or bot. Trust the one star reviews and avoid this place. The staff is rude and mean-spirited, the food is frozen. Yet the staff will tell you it's homemade but couldn't tell what ingredients are present in a simple dessert they sell here. If you lean over the counter you can see the cook unfreezing their homemade meals. Although I'd recommend keeping an eye on the manager, several times I went here and she was rude to customers (pretending not to speak English or French to avoid helping them 👌). But the worst: My friend saw her put dirt from the counter in his drink after he asked her to check if it contained cow's milk - because she said no the 1st time and shouldn't have to repeat herself. Of course, the drink had cow's milk in it but that lady doesn't care that it could be dangerous to my friend. Don't waste your time, money or...

We came here because of the high rating… purposefully passed by every cafe and restaurant on the way. Don’t expect to blow away by the design of this cafe, but you will be blown away by the atmosphere and the food. The lovely woman working here is an absolute joy to just talk to. I see why it’s so popular with the locals. This place and the energy is transformative and you feel like you’re on a Harry Porter sequel, crossing into a world not visible to most. I understand why people come here ) including so many kids. PS The pancakes with maple syrup were amazing!...

In between The Rodin museum and The Louvre, my lady and I really wanted some oat milk latte’s to help with our jet lag. We goggled many places and no one nearby served oat milk.

I was standing on the sidewalk googling places, and when I looked next to me I saw “Smoothies” on the glass, so I thought, “there is oat milk here”

I was correct and proceeded to have the one of the best oat milk lattes in my life.

And I assume disappointment when it comes to oat milk lattes.
