I don't often write reviews, but I had to for this restaurant. What an amazing experience. We found this place randomly while scrolling google maps and decided to give it a go. It is such a beautiful French restaurant, small and private. Most people there seemed to be locals, with the owners happily chatting to everyone. The restaurant is run by a couple who were so lovely, explaining all the dishes to us and recommending things. The food was delicious and felt like I was stepping back in time. Sad we discovered this place on our last night in Paris or definately would have been back again just to be able to talk to the lovely owners again. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough if you would like a nice, homely, affordable, and authentic...

Charm goes a long way in the restaurant biz. You can serve yesterday's roast chicken (still yum, though not at its peak), and slightly overcooked peas (similarly yum, thanks to a very virtuous reduction), and still rate 5*. Why? Because this place gets it, like the French have been getting it for centuries. Care a lot. Smile a lot. Put yourself in the shoes of the customer and do what you can (and cheerfully explain what you can not) and give your best. And the care was outstanding. The smiles are real. The thoughtfulness, even at the pre beginning of what will be a long day and even longer holiday season,...

We, including 7 our year old, have just been invited into a private world. It was a delicious, beautiful, wonderful evening. Full of taste and joy. “Do you have a wine list?” “I’m the wine list!” Says the owner. Off the beaten track, no airs and graces. Just straight forward fabulous French cuisine. Frequented clearly by locals who know the owners and it had such a relaxed atmosphere. Worth a detour. Worth a taxi ride or a walk. You don’t leave a restaurant: you leave a neighbour’s. (Incidentally I don’t normally leave reviews and I am very critical but this is...

The cafe offers variety of food and the barista who seems to have worked here forever ( maybe the owner ) suggested the perfect one for my food choice and everything was delicious. Feels like a place where locals do lunch and feels like community. I’m vegetarian and even tough there are not many options without animal protein ( it’s France…) you still can find something like my goat cheese salad and feel satisfied. Taste of food it also amazing Definitely coming back !
